Nazneen (film)
''Nazneen'' is a 1951 Indian film directed by N. K. Ziree and starring Madhubala, Nasir Khan and Jayant. It was the debut film of Amjad Khan. Plot It starts with a young Kundan, who was often absorbed in day dreaming. He would often be thinking and thinking or planning in his imagination of his sweet heart. Youth sees impossible things with a silver lining. But his parents expected differently from him. So they decided to end all this nonsense and fixed up marriage with the girl to whom he was betrothed in the childhood. In order to avoid his marriage Kundan comes over to Bombay with the help of his friend Ghunchoo. Kundan and Ghunchoo while in Bombay soon meet Professor Dho, who after putting them a number of interesting questions agrees to give them jobs. Madhubala
Madhubala (born Mumtaz Jehan Begum Dehlavi; 14 February 1933 – 23 February 1969) was an Indian actress and producer who worked in Hindi-language films. She ranked as one of the highest-paid entertainers in India in the post-independence era, that coincided with the rise of Indian cinema on global levels. In a career spanning more than 20 years, Madhubala was predominantly active for only a decade but had appeared in over 60 films by the time of her death in 1969. Born and raised in Delhi, Madhubala relocated to Bombay with her family when she was 8 years old and shortly after appeared in minor roles in a number of films. Nasir Khan (actor)
Nasir Khan (11 January 1924 – 3 May 1974) was an Indian actor. He was the younger brother of actor Dilip Kumar and is the father of actor Ayub Khan. Career Nasir Khan made his acting debut in the 1945 film ''Mazdoor''. After a few films, he shifted to Lahore after Partition and starred in the first ever Pakistani film '' Teri Yaad'' in 1948. He acted in another Pakistani film, '' Shahida'' in 1949. Both films failed to do well and Nasir returned to India in 1951. He resumed his acting career in Bombay, acting in several films throughout the 1950s. His movie ''Nagina'' (1951) with Nutan was a big hit. The two of them formed a memorable pair who also starred together in two more films, Aagosh and Sheesham. Nasir Khan also enacted the role of Jumna alongside his real life brother Dilip Kumar, who played the role of Gunga in the 1961 dacoit drama Bollywood film ''Gunga Jumna''. Ghulam Mohammad (composer)
Ghulam Mohammed (1903 – 17 March 1968) was an Indian film score composer, who is notable for Hindi musicals such as '' Pardes'' (1950), '' Mirza Ghalib'' (1954), ''Shama'' (1961) and '' Pakeezah'' (1972). He received National Film Award for Best Music Direction (then called State Awards for Films) for ''Mirza Ghalib'' (1954). Amjad Khan (12 November 1940 — 27 July 1992) was an Indian actor and film director. He worked in over 132 films in a career spanning nearly twenty years. He was the son of the actor Jayant. He gained popularity for villainous roles in mostly Hindi films, the most famous being Gabbar Singh in the 1975 classic ''Sholay'' and of Dilawar in ''Muqaddar Ka Sikandar'' (1978). Agha (21 March 1914 – 30 April 1992) was an Indian actor of Bollywood films. He was known for comic roles and modeled himself on Bob Hope's style of acting. He appeared in over 300 Hindi films in his career between 1935 and 1986. His son, Jalal Agha, also became an actor, mostly known for the song ''Mehbooba Mehbooba'' in ''Sholay'' (1975). Cuckoo Moray, also credited as Cuckoo or Cukoo (1928 – 30 September 1981), was an Anglo-Indian dancer and actress in Indian cinema. Cuckoo was the queen of film dancing in Hindi cinema of the 1940s and 1950s. Though unfamiliar in name, she was known as the "rubber girl" of Hindi cinema and her talent made cabaret dancing a must in the Bollywood films during the 1940s and 1950s. Prathima Devi (9 April 1933 – 6 April 2021) was an Indian actress known for her work in Kannada films. Devi made her debut through the 1947 film ''Krishnaleela''.
