Natural Selection (The Spectacular Spider-Man)
"Natural Selection" is the third episode of the animated cartoon, animated television series ''The Spectacular Spider-Man (TV series), The Spectacular Spider-Man,'' which is based on the comic book character Spider-Man, created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. In the episode, Spider-Man must face the scientist he was working for, Lizard (comics), Curt Connors, who has been mutated into an anthropomorphic lizard by a serum designed to regrow his missing arm. ''The Spectacular Spider-Man'' is an American superhero animated television series based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, developed for television by Greg Weisman and Victor Cook. The polar bear (''Ursus maritimus'') is a hypercarnivorous bear whose native range lies largely within the Arctic Circle, encompassing the Arctic Ocean, its surrounding seas and surrounding land masses.
