Natty King
Natty King, (born Kevin Christopher Roberts; 1977), is a Jamaican roots reggae artist. He is known for the singles " Mr.Greedy" and " No Guns To Town", both from the 2003 ''No Guns To Town'' album. After a short break in his career, King released the 2020 single "JOE". In early January 2022, the roots reggae musician released his second album ''Rebellution'' featuring new anthems like: "Trees", "Early Morning" and the title-song of the album "Rebellution". Life and work Born in Jamaica, King grew up in the countryside in Saint Thomas Parish in the southeast of Jamaica. He is the father of four children. He rose to prominence in the early 2000s. He landed his first hit with the DJ Trinity-produced song "Mr. Greedy", which reached # 1 on the Jamaican charts. His next single "No Guns To Town" debuted at # 1 of the video charts there. Jamaica

Saint Thomas, once known as ''Saint Thomas in the East'', is a suburban parish situated at the south eastern end of Jamaica, within the county of Surrey. It is the birthplace of the Right Honourable Paul Bogle, designated in 1969 as one of Jamaica's seven National Heroes. Morant Bay, its chief town and capital, is the site of the Morant Bay Rebellion in 1865, of which Bogle was a leader. Representative George William Gordon, a wealthy mixed race businessman and politician from this district, was tried and executed in 1865 under martial law on suspicion of directing the rebellion. Governor Eyre was forced to resign due to the controversy over his execution of Gordon and violent suppression of the rebellion. Gordon was designated in 1969 as a National Hero. Rototom Sunsplash is a large European reggae festival which takes place every summer at BenicĂ ssim, a few miles north of Valencia in Spain. Since 1994, it attracts thousands of reggae fans from all over the world, thanks to a vast cultural and musical program that lasts for up to ten days. History 1991-1999: Rototom Association and the clubs in Gaio and Zoppola The birthplace of the festival is the small Italian town of Gaio di Spilimbergo, province of Pordenone, in the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, close to Venice. On 13 December 1991, the Rototom Cultural Association was born and with it a nightclub of the same name. Uppsala Reggae Festival is the largest reggae festival in Scandinavia. It has been active since 2001, with a number of notable artists performing. It was first held in 2001, but the name was used as early as 1995. Uppsala Reggae Festival attracts attendees of all ages from all over the world. In connection with the 2001 festival, Uppsala was given the epithet "The Reggae Mecca of Scandinavia" by the Swedish National TV4, on the grounds that the festival then was the only festival in Scandinavia specifically dedicated to reggae. Rastafari
Rastafari, sometimes called Rastafarianism, is a religion that developed in Jamaica during the 1930s. It is classified as both a new religious movement and a social movement by scholars of religion. There is no central authority in control of the movement and much diversity exists among practitioners, who are known as Rastafari, Rastafarians, or Rastas. Rastafari beliefs are based on a specific interpretation of the Bible. Central is a monotheistic belief in a single God, referred to as Jah, who is deemed to partially reside within each individual.
