Jhajjar
Jhajjar is a town in Jhajjar district in the Indian state of Haryana. The city is situated on the road connecting Rewari to Rohtak (NH-352), Loharu to Meerut (NH334B), Charkhi Dadri to Delhi and Gurgaon to Bhiwani. Jhajjar is located west of Delhi. Jhajjar is famous for valour and courage of its soldiers in defence forces. Mainly Jhajjar is well known for a larger percentage of youngsters joining Indian Army. Former Army Chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag is a well known example from Jhajjar. Bahadurgarh is a city, nearby Jhajjar, is located in Jhajjar district in the Indian state of Haryana. The city comprises 31 wards and is approximately 21 km from National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi and 31 km from Jhajjar, the district headquarter. National highways have flyover access or some controlled-access, where entrance and exit is through the side of the flyover, at each intersection of highways flyovers are provided to bypass the city/town/village traffic and these highways are designed for speed of 100 km/hr. A spur route is a short road forming a branch from a longer, more important road such as a freeway, Interstate Highway, or motorway. A bypass or beltway should not be considered a true spur route as it typically reconnects with another or the same major road. National Highway 52 (NH 52), Sangrur, Punjab to Ankola, Karnataka, is a National Highway in India. The national highway 52 was numbered after amalgamating many existing national highways of India. The old highway numbered NH-63 was from Ankola in Karnataka state to Gooty in Andhra pradesh state. The highway 52 starts at the junction of National Highway 66 (old number NH-17) at Ankola and moves up to Arebail ghat of Western ghats and then to Yellapura and further to Hubballi (Hubli) city. Some stretch of old national highway 13 from Vijayapura ( old name Bijapur) to Solapur was joined with NH-52. On 28 April 2010, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways officially published a new numbering system for the National Highway network in the Gazette of the Government of India. It is a systematic numbering scheme based on the orientation and the geographic location of the highway. This was adopted to ensure more flexibility and consistency in the numbering of existing and new national highways.
