National Front (Spain, 2006)
The National Front ( es, Frente Nacional) was a Spanish political party founded by José Fernando Cantalapiedra in 2006. In June 2006, Cantalapiedra registered a new ''Frente Nacional'' with the Interior Ministry's Register of Political Parties. It shares a name with an unrelated political party founded by Blas Piñar, which existed between 1985 and 1993. Similar to the previous party of the same name, the new National Front goes by the initials, ''FrN''. The new National Front party claims to stand for political and social reform, with similar messages to the National Democracy party. On 28 October 2007, 500 people turned out to a National Front demonstration at the monument of Christopher Columbus, in Madrid. Blue
Blue is one of the three primary colours in the RYB colour model (traditional colour theory), as well as in the RGB (additive) colour model. Yellow
Yellow is the color between green and orange on the spectrum of light. It is evoked by light with a dominant wavelength of roughly 575585 nm. Blas Piñar
Blas Piñar López (22 November 1918 – 28 January 2014) was a Spanish far right politician. Having connections to Catholic organizations, during the Francoist dictatorship he directed the Institute of Hispanic Culture (''Instituto de Cultura Hispánica'') and served as ''procurador'' in the Cortes and as national councillor (1955–1977). He later became a member of the Congress of Deputies in 1979. Biography Piñar was born in Toledo. He was a law student in Madrid when the Spanish Civil War broke out and took refuge in the embassies of Finland and Paraguay, later doing work as a clandestine "fifth columnist" for the Nationalist forces. From 1957 to 1962, he was in charge of the Institute of Hispanic Culture that was dedicated to managing scholarships between Latin American and Spanish universities.
