''Nasty As I Wanna Be'' is the second album by American rapper, Simon Rex, also known as Dirt Nasty. It was released by Shoot To Kill Music in association with Myspace Records. The title track was released on July 6, 2010 as a teaser for the album. The album title itself is based on the 2 Live Crew album, '' As Nasty As They Wanna Be''. Background After success with his self-titled debut album, Dirt Nasty soon began work on a second album. American pop-star Kesha and producer Kool Kojak both contributed significantly towards the album, with Kesha appearing on two songs and co-writing three tracks, and Kool Kojak producing seven tracks off the album. Simon Rex
Simon Rex Cutright (born July 20, 1974), is an American actor, rapper, comedian, and former model. Rising to fame as an MTV VJ, Rex later became an actor known for '' What I Like About You'', starring in three films of the ''Scary Movie'' franchise, and ''National Lampoon's Pledge This!''. He later developed a rap persona, Dirt Nasty, and had several solo albums and co-founded the hip-hop group Three Loco. Big In Japan (Alphaville Song)
"Big in Japan" is the debut single of the German synth-pop band Alphaville. It was taken from their 1984 debut album '' Forever Young''. The single was a success in many countries, including Germany, Sweden and Switzerland. It was also the group's only UK Top 75 hit, reaching No. 8 on the UK Singles chart. The song also reached number one on the Hot Dance Club Play in December 1984. Lyrics, music and theme The group had a Roland System-100M which they first used to create the bassline. The timing of the song was influenced by "The Safety Dance", changing the speed to double-time, halfway through the song. The melody was developed by all three members of the band, working in their provincial home studio. Marian Gold developed most of the lyrics while going to a dentist.
