Nassim Akrour
Nassim Akrour ( ar, نسيم أكرور; born July 10, 1974) is an Algerian footballer and coach who currently plays for Chambéry and coaches the youth team at Annecy, whom he represented as a player between 2016 and 2019. At international level, he has represented Algeria, earning 18 caps and scoring six goals between 2001 and 2004. Akrour is the all-time leading scorer of French club Grenoble Foot 38 with 94 league goals. Club career Akrour was born in Courbevoie, France. He began his career with Olympique Noisy-le-Sec, moving to England in 1997 to join Sutton United, where he scored 19 goals in 41 appearances during the 1998-99 season as the club won promotion to the Football Conference. Courbevoie () is a commune located in the Hauts-de-Seine Department of the Île-de-France region of France. It is in the suburbs of the city of Paris, from the center of Paris. The 5 July 1962 Stadium () (the name refers to 5 July 1962, the day Algeria declared independence), is a football and athletics stadium located in Algiers, Algeria. The stadium was inaugurated in 1972 with a capacity of 95,000. It served as the main stadium of the 1975 Mediterranean Games, the 1978 All-Africa Games, the 2004 Pan Arab Games, and the 2007 All-Africa Games. The stadium was one of two venues of the 1990 African Cup of Nations (the other venue was the 19 May 1956 Stadium in Annaba). The 2004 African Cup of Nations, known as the NOKIA African Cup of Nations, Tunisia 2004 for sponsorship reasons (also referred to as AFCON 2004 or CAN 2004) is the 24th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, the biennial international men's football championship of Africa organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Teams There were twelve teams promoted from Championnat de France amateur 2, while ten teams were relegated from the 2014–15 Championnat de France amateur.
