Naomi Carroll
Naomi Carroll (born 13 September 1992) is an Irish Olympian and Ireland women's field hockey international. In 2015–16 Carroll won a Women's Irish Hockey League title with Hermes. Carroll has also played both camogie and ladies' Gaelic football at senior inter-county level for Clare and represented the Republic of Ireland women's national under-17 football team. Early years and education Carroll is originally from Cratloe, County Clare. She completed her secondary level education at St Patrick's Comprehensive in Shannon. Between 2011 and 2015 she attended Mary Immaculate College where she gained a BA in Maths and Irish. Between 2015 and 2017 she attended NUI Galway where she completed a Masters of Education in Maths and Irish. Limerick GAA
The Limerick County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael, Coiste Chontae Luimneach) or Limerick GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Limerick. Sixmilebridge GAA
Sixmilebridge is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Sixmilebridge, County Clare, Ireland. History Sixmilebridge GAA Club was founded in 1904. The first recorded matches were at junior hurling and football level against Newmarket-on-Fergus with the hurlers winning and the footballers losing 2–07 to 0–02. The first recorded championship success was in 1940. Kilkishen were defeated in the Clare Intermediate Hurling Championship by Newmarket-on-Fergus. A further ten years elapsed before Sixmilebridge won the Clare Junior A Hurling Championship. In 1951 they won the Clare Intermediate Hurling Championship beating Ennis Dalcassians in the final. The following year the Bridge reached the county senior final only to be beaten by Scariff. Na Piarsaigh GAA (Limerick)
Na Piarsaigh () is a Gaelic Athletic Association club situated on the north side of Limerick City, Ireland. It was founded in 1968. Following their 1–15 to 3–11 victory in the 2022 Limerick Intermediate Football Championship over St Senan's, Na Piarsaigh are one of Four dual senior club in hurling and Gaelic football in Limerick. The club currently field five adult teams three in hurling (senior, Intermediate & Junior) and two in football (Senior & Junior), the most of any club in Limerick. Cratloe GAA
Cratloe GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the village of Cratloe, County Clare, Ireland. The club deals with both Gaelic football and hurling and basketball. The club competes in Clare GAA competitions. In November 2013, Cratloe won their first ever Clare Senior Football Championship title, defeating Doonbeg by 0-10 to 0-7. They reached the 2013 Munster Senior Club Football Championship final on 1 December, but were defeated 0-13 to 0-12 by Dr Crokes. Ladies' Gaelic Football
Ladies' Gaelic football ( ga, Peil Ghaelach na mBan) is a women's team sport. It is the women's equivalent of Gaelic football. Ladies' football is organised by the Ladies' Gaelic Football Association. Two teams of 15 players kick or hand-pass a round ball towards goals at each end of a grass pitch, since May 2022 women Gaelic footballers have to wear shin pads. Dora Gorman
Dora Gorman (born 18 February 1993) is an Irish physician and Republic of Ireland women's international footballer who plays as a midfielder for Peamount United of the Women's National League (WNL). In 2010, she was captain of the Republic of Ireland U-17 squad who were runners-up in the 2010 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship and quarter-finalists in the 2010 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. As well as being a medical doctor, Gorman is an all-round sportswoman. Deirdre Duke (born 9 June 1992) is an Ireland women's national field hockey team, Ireland women's field hockey international. She was a member of the Ireland team that played in 2018 Women's Hockey World Cup final.
