Nanyang railway station ( zh, s=南阳火车站, t= 南陽火車站, p=Nányáng huǒchē zhàn is a first-class railway station in Nanyang, Henan, China on the Nanjing–Xi'an railway and Jiaozuo–Liuzhou railway operated byt China Railway Zhengzhou Group. History The station was built in 1970. In May 2017, work began on rebuilding the station. The existing station building was demolished and a new building constructed. The rebuilt station opened on 26 December 2018. A West Square expansion is planned. Nanyang is a prefecture-level city in the southwest of Henan province, China. China Railway Zhengzhou Group, officially abbreviated as CR Zhengzhou or CR-Zhengzhou, formerly, Zhengzhou Railway Administration is a subsidiaries company under the jurisdiction of the China Railway (formerly the Ministry of Railway). Nanjing–Xi'an Railway
The Nanjing–Xi'an railway or Ningxi railway (), is a major trunkline railroad in China between Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province and Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi Province. The Chinese name for the line, Ningxi, is named after the two terminal cities, ''Ning'', the Chinese character shorthand for the city of Nanjing, and ''Xi'' for Xian. The line is in length and comprises the Xi’an-Hefei section in the west, in length, that opened on January 7, 2004, and the high-speed Hefei–Nanjing section in the east, better known as the Hefei–Nanjing passenger railway, in length, that opened on April 18, 2008. Nanyang East Railway Station
The Nanyangdong (Nanyang East) railway station () is a railway station for high-speed trains in Nanyang, Henan, China. It was opened on December 1, 2019 with the Zhengzhou to Xiangyang section of Zhengzhou–Wanzhou high-speed railway. Station layout The station looks like a soaring dragon. The gross floor area is 50,680 square meters, which makes Nanyangdong the largest trackside station in China.
