Nanhai Long-Lions
The Macau Black Bears () are a Macanese professional basketball team competing in the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL). History Chong Son Kung Fu was a Chinese basketball team playing in the ASEAN Basketball League. Based in Nanhai District, Foshan, Guangdong, the team plays their home games at the 4,000-seated Nanhai Gymnasium. They joined ABL from 2017–18 season as the "Nanhai Long Lions". They changed their name to Nanhai Kung Fu to differentiate themselves from their mother team, the Guanzhou Long Lions. After they partnered with Macau's Grupo Desportivo Chong Son they changed their name once again to their present name by November 2017. After the 2018 season, the team relocated to Macau to become the Macau Black Bears, in a bid to promote professional basketball in the city. The Guangzhou Loong Lions () are a Chinese professional basketball team based in Guangzhou, Guangdong. They play in the Southern Division of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). History The team was founded in November 2000 as Shaanxi Gaitianli Kylins by the Xi'an Dongsheng Group. In August 2001, they won the "B" league championship, and were promoted to the CBA. The 2019–20 ABL season was the tenth season of competition of the ASEAN Basketball League. The regular season started on 16 November 2019 and was set to end on 28 March 2020. On 15 July 2020, the league announced the cancellation of the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. No league title was awarded. Singapore Slingers
The Singapore Slingers is a Singaporean professional basketball team that currently compete in the ASEAN Basketball League. The Slingers were known as the JobStreet.com Singapore Slingers between 2009 and 2014, due to sponsorship ties with JobStreet.com. The Slingers formerly competed in Australia's National Basketball League (NBL), becoming the first – and so far, the only – Asia-based club to compete in the NBL when they joined at the start of the 2006–07 NBL season. The Mono Vampire Basketball Club () is a Thai basketball team that previously played in the ASEAN Basketball League. They have also participated at the Thailand Basketball League. It is owned by Mono Group, a Thai media and technology conglomerate. Established in 2014, the Vampires finished third at the Thailand Basketball League and the Thailand Basketball Super League in their first season.
