Nancy Eimers
Nancy Eimers (born 1954 Chicago) is an American poet. Life She graduated from Indiana University with an M.A., from the University of Arizona with an M.F.A., and from the University of Houston with a Ph.D. She teaches at Western Michigan University. She is also a contributing editor at The Alaska Quarterly Review. Her work has appeared in ''Paris Review'', ''TriQuarterly'', ''Field'', ''The Nation'', ''Antioch Review'', ''North American Review'', ''Poetry Northwest'', ''Dunes Review''. A poet is a person who studies and creates poetry. Poets may describe themselves as such or be described as such by others. A poet may simply be the creator ( thinker, songwriter, writer, or author) who creates (composes) poems ( oral or written), or they may also perform their art to an audience. Kalamazoo ( ) is a city in the southwest region of the U.S. state of Michigan. It is the county seat of Kalamazoo County. At the 2010 census, Kalamazoo had a population of 74,262.
