Nana Bediatuo Asante
Nana Bediatuo Asante is a Ghanaian people, Ghanaian administrator, lawyer and consultant. He is a member of the New Patriotic Party. He is the current Executive Secretary to the President of Ghana and the Apagyahene of Akyem Abuakwa. Early life and education Married to Oluwafemi Adetola Working life Asante stated his legal practices with Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison, in New York before joining the African Development Bank and Databank as a consultant and general counsel respectively. In 2000, he co-founder Faith Brothers Ltd, an investment holding company with Mawuli Ababio in Accra. The company later acquired Citi Savings and Loans Ltd. where he served as a managing director, the company was subsequently converted into Intercontinental Bank Ghana Limited and was acquired by Access Bank plc of Nigeria in 2019. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo ( ; born 29 March 1944) is a Ghanaian politician who has served as the president of Ghana since 7 January 2017. 2020 Ghanaian general election, In 2020, he was re-elected for his second term, which will end on 6 January 2025. Akufo-Addo previously served as Attorney General of Ghana, Attorney General from 2001 to 2003 and as Minister for Foreign Affairs (Ghana), Minister for Foreign Affairs from 2003 to 2007 under the John Kufuor, Kufuor-led administration. Akyem Abuakwa
Akyem Abuakwa is one of the four states of Akyem in 14th century Africa. Currently, it is part of Ghana. Historically, the Akyem were part of the Adansi Kingdom, which was the first nation to build buildings out of mud. They were therefore were named Adansi (builders). In the 18th century, the Ashanti Empire emerged, and under the leadership of King Osei Tutu, defeated the Adansi and annexed them into the Ashanti Empire. The three Akyem nations that were part of the Adansi Kingdom seceded and crossed the River Pra. History King Tutu I decided to pursue the Akyems across River Pra against the advice of Okomfo Anokye. While crossing the river with his army, he was shot by the Akyems in an ambush. He was killed and fell into the river.
