Namibian Cricket Team In Zimbabwe In 2022
The Namibia cricket team toured Zimbabwe in May 2022 to play five Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The matches were played at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, and it was the first men's T20I series between Zimbabwe and Namibia. Zimbabwe won the opening match of the series by seven runs, with captain Craig Ervine scoring an unbeaten 55 runs. Namibia then won the second match by eight wickets to level the series, and recorded their first win against Zimbabwe in international cricket. Zimbabwe won the third T20I by eight wickets, with Wesley Madhevere finishing 73 not out. Namibia went on to win the fourth match, with captain Gerhard Erasmus scoring 59 not out. Zane Green hit the winning runs off the last ball of the game, to level the series at 2–2, with one match to play. In the fifth and final match, Namibia won by 32 runs, to win the series 3–2. Craig Ervine
Craig Richard Ervine (born 19 August 1985) is a Zimbabwean international cricketer who captains Zimbabwe in limited overs matches. Ervine is a left-handed batter. He was born in Harare and has played Test and limited overs cricket for the Zimbabwe national cricket team and first-class cricket for a variety of Zimbabwean sides in the Logan Cup. He holds Irish passport. In January 2022, in the opening fixture of the series against Sri Lanka, Ervine played in his 100th One Day International (ODI) match. Tanaka Chivanga
Tanaka Chivanga (born 24 July 1993) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He made his international debut for the Zimbabwe cricket team in May 2022. Career In December 2020, he was selected to play for the Eagles in the 2020–21 Logan Cup. He made his first-class debut on 9 December 2020, for Eagles, in the 2020–21 Logan Cup tournament. Jan Frylinck
Jan Nicolaas Frylinck (born 6 April 1994) is a South African-born Namibian cricketer who currently plays for Namibia national cricket team. He is a left-handed batsman and left-arm medium-fast bowler. Frylinck made his first-class debut for Boland on 24 March 2011 against Western Province.
