Namaste Waterfall
Namaste Falls ( ne, नमस्ते झरना) is located in Bhedetar village development committee of Dhankuta district. It is popular among domestic tourists. The falls are about 80 meters high. Domestic tourists from Jhapa, Dhankuta, Morang and Sunsari visit this falls in large. One can see a rainbow-like, seven-colour formation while standing close to the waterfall. It is in the shape of Namasthe. The falls are also frequently visited by researchers. Geography It is located 8 km away from Vedatar. Tourism Tourism is common in the area. Along with the falls, Vedatar and Agricultural Research Station on Pakhribas are located nearby. However, there are no human settlements nearby. Bhedetar
Bhedetar (translation: Sheep's Butte) is a village development committee in Dhankuta District in the Koshi Zone of eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2643 people living in 513 individual households. It is 1,420 meters high from the sea level. It is actually the border line of Sunsari and Dhankuta district. Attractions Bhedetar is a developing tourist spot. It is a small hill station just 16 kilometers away from Dharan Sub-metropolis. It is famous for its unpredictable weather - a moment it hides itself in the blanket of thick fog and another moment it reveals itself as the crown of urban Dharan. it is also famous as the transit point to the namaste jharna,which is also one of the famous water fall of nepal. Dhankuta District
Dhankuta District ( ne, धनकुटा जिल्ला) () is one of 14 districts of Province No. 1 of eastern Nepal. The district covers an area of and has a population (2011) of 163,412. Dhankuta is the district headquarters of Dhankuta District. History Dhankuta was a part of Kirat Region before unification of those parts into Kingdom of Nepal. Jhapa ( ne, झापा जिल्ला; ) is a district of Province No. 1 in eastern Nepal named after a Rajbanshi word "Jhapa" meaning "to cover" (verb). The latest official data, the 2021 Nepal Census, puts the total population of the district at 994,090. The total area of the district is 1,606 square kilometres. Dhankuta
Dhankuta ( ne, धनकुटा ) is a hill town and the headquarter of Koshi Zone located in Dhankuta District of Eastern Nepal. According to 2011 Nepal census, it has population of 26,440 inhabitants. Morang District ( ne, मोरङ जिल्ला ) is located in Province No. 1 in eastern Nepal. It is an Outer Terai district.
