Najam Hussein Syed
Najm Hosain Syed (born 1935) is a Pakistani writer of Punjabi language. He has written poetry and plays in the Punjabi language as well as literary criticism on Punjabi literature in his ''Recurrent Patterns in Punjabi Poetry'' (1968). Early life and career Najm Hosain Syed was born in 1935 in Batala, Punjab, British India and later moved to Lahore, Pakistan after the independence of Pakistan in 1947. Samina Hasan Syed (1944 – 17 September 2016), was a Punjabi-language singer and music teacher. Her music can be found on https://m.soundcloud.com/saminahasansyed She learnt with great masters like Bhai Chhaila, Ustad Chhottay Ghulam Ali Khan of Qawal Bacha Gharana, to name a few. She recorded her singing lessons with Ustad Chhotay Ghulam Ali Khan over a decade. Huma Safdar
Huma Safdar (Urdu: ہما صفدر) is a teacher, theatre artist, Punjabi language activist and director of feminist theatre “Sangat”. As an artist, she worked with Punjab Lok Rahs. She has taught as art and Punjabi language teacher in Lahore Grammar School. She has contributed a lot to promote Punjabi theatre, literature and folklore. Early life and career Safdar was born in a politically active family. Her father Safdar Rasheed and uncle Anwar Rasheed were members of the Mazdoor Kisan Party and along with them she learned about politics of the left and joined protests many times. Safdar’s husband, Akram Varraich is also a painter and poet who shares common concerns about society and establishing strong democratic tradition. The Central Superior Services (CSS; or Civil Service) is a permanent elite civil service authority, and the civil service that is responsible for running the bureaucratic operations and government secretariats and directorates of the Cabinet of Pakistan. The Prime Minister is the final authority on all matters regarding the civil service. The civil service defined itself as "key wheels on which the entire engine of the state has to move."
