Nadia Mitsopoulos
Nadia Mitsopoulos (1971) is an Australian journalist. She currently presents the ''Mornings'' program on ABC Radio Perth. Career Mitsopoulos began her journalism career in 1991 with Golden West Network based in Albany, Western Australia. She joined Network Ten in 1993 and, after a stint with Associated Press Television News in London, moved to STW in Perth in 1998. Mitsopolous was with STW for 13 years, working mainly as the station's state political reporter. ABC Radio Perth (call sign: 6WF) is the on-air identifier of a radio station located in Perth, Western Australia, operated by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and broadcasting at 720 hertz, kHz amplitude modulation, AM. Golden West Network
GWN7 was an Australian Television broadcasting in Australia, television network serving all of Western Australia outside metropolitan Perth. It launched on 10 March 1967 as ''BTW-3'' in Bunbury, Western Australia, Bunbury. It was an affiliate of the Seven Network and served one of the largest geographic television markets in the world—almost one-third of the continent. The network's name, ''GWN'', is an acronym of Golden West Network, the network's name from 1979 to when the current name was adopted in 2011. In 2021, GWN7's parent company Prime Media Group merged with Seven and the brand was retired in 2022. Albany ( ; nys, Kinjarling) is a port city in the Great Southern region in the Australian state of Western Australia, southeast of Perth, the state capital. Russell Woolf
Russell Lesley Woolf (1964 – 26 October 2021) was an Australian media personality who was best known as a presenter on ABC Radio Perth in Western Australia. Early life Woolf was born and raised in Perth. He attended Carmel School. After finishing high school he spent a year in Israel before returning to Perth to study at the University of Western Australia and Curtin University. In his mid-20s, he studied broadcasting at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Lifeline (crisis Support Service)
Lifeline is a non-profit organisation that provides free, 24-hour telephone crisis support service in Australia. Volunteer crisis supporters provide suicide prevention services, mental health support and emotional assistance, not only via telephone but face-to-face and online. The telephone service can be accessed by calling 13 11 14 within Australia. Telephone crisis support is provided via a network of ''Lifeline Centres'' maintained by trained volunteers and some paid staff. Lifeline Centres are owned and operated by affiliate member organisations of Lifeline Australia, some of which are wholly owned subsidiaries of the national group, and some of which are local branches of the Uniting Church in Australia.
