Nadeem Baig (Pakistani Actor)
Mirza Nazeer Baig (born 19 July 1941), also known by his stage name Nadeem ( ur, ندیم) is a Pakistani actor, singer and producer. He has appeared in over two hundred films and has won the 1997 Pride of Performance award. In Pakistan Nadeem enjoys the same status as Amitabh Bachchan enjoys in India. Early life Baig was born in Vijayawada in modern Andhra Pradesh which, in 1941, was part of Madras Presidency in British India. Nadeem Baig migrated to Dhaka, East Pakistan along with his family after the independence of Pakistan in 1947. Shabana (actress)
Afroza Sultana Ratna (known by her stage name Shabana) is a Bangladeshi film actress. She earned a total of ten Bangladesh National Film Awards. Her national film award-winning roles were in ''Janani'' (1977), ''Sokhi Tumi Kar'' (1980), ''Dui Poisar Alta'' (1982), ''Nazma'' (1983), '' Bhat De'' (1984), ''Apeksha'' (1987), ''Ranga Bhabi'' (1989), ''Moroner Pore'' (1990) and ''Achena'' (1991). Cinema of Pakistan, popularly known as Lollywood ( ur, ), refers to the filmmaking industry in Pakistan. Pakistan is home to several film studios centres, primarily located in its three largest cities – Karachi, Lahore, and Faisalabad. Syed Ishrat Abbas
Syed Ishrat Abbas ( ur, ), (1928 – 8 November 1980) better known by his stage name Darpan ( ur, ), was one of the original romantic heroes of the "golden age" of Pakistan's film industry (also commonly known as Lollywood). Background Syed Ishrat Abbas was born into a middle-class Shia Muslim family originally from the United Provinces of India, where he was born in 1928. His older brother, Santosh Kumar, was also a film actor. Another brother, S. Sulaiman, is a film director. Syed Musa Abbas Raza, ( ur, ; 25 December 1925 – 11 June 1982) better known as Santosh Kumar ( ur, ), was a Pakistani film actor who was popular in the 1950s and 1960s. He was from an Urdu-speaking family from Lahore, Pakistan. His brother Darpan was also a film actor during the same period, while his other brother S. Suleman was a film director. Samina Peerzada (, Punjabi, ) is a film and television actress, producer and director from Pakistan. Pervez Malik (1937 in Karachi – 18 November 2008) was a Pakistani film director. He was the director of Pakistan's first platinum jubilee film, " Armaan" (1966). He directed more than 20 films, mostly in Urdu language, and received excellent reviews for many of his films from both film critics and the public.
