NK Primorje
Nogometni klub Primorje ( en, Primorje Football Club), commonly referred to as NK Primorje or simply Primorje, was a Slovenian football club which played in the town of Ajdovščina. After Slovenia's independence in 1991, Primorje spent a total of 18 seasons in the Slovenian PrvaLiga until the club folded following the 2010–11 season when they were, due to high financial debt, unable to obtain competition licences issued by the Football Association of Slovenia. Their best league result was the second place in the 1996–97 and 2001–02 seasons. A successor club was established in June 2011 under the name Nogometno društvo Ajdovščina. Stadium The team played their home matches at Ajdovščina City Stadium, a 1,630 capacity stadium in Ajdovščina. The stadium was renovated during the 2009–10 season, and was reopened in September 2010. Bora (wind)
The bora is a northerly to north-easterly katabatic wind in areas near the Adriatic Sea. Similar nomenclature is used for north-eastern winds in other littoral areas of eastern Mediterranean and Black Sea basins. Name It is known in Greek as (''mpóra'', pronounced ''bora'') and Italian as . In English, the name ''bora'' is used. The Slovenian Second Football League ( sl, Druga slovenska nogometna liga or commonly 2. SNL) is the second highest Association football, football league in Slovenia. The league was formed in 1991 and is operated by the Football Association of Slovenia. Format and rules In its inaugural season (1991–92 Slovenian Second League, 1991–92), the Slovenian Second League was divided into two regional groups (East and West), with both winners directly promoted to the Slovenian PrvaLiga. In 1992, a unified league was formed with 16 clubs playing the Round-robin tournament, round-robin system, which lasted until 2003. Two clubs were usually promoted, while the number of those relegated varied with the number of divisions in the Slovenian Third League. In 2003, the league was reduced to twelve teams and only the champion was directly promoted to PrvaLiga, as additional promotion play-offs were introduced for the second place. Siol.net is a Slovenian web media and the oldest news portal in Slovenia. It is owned and managed by TSmedia company that is itself owned by the Telekom Slovenije. They competes in the Slovenian Second League, the second level of Slovenian football.
