NK Istra 1961
Nogometni klub Istra 1961 ( en, Istra 1961 Football Club), commonly referred to as NK Istra 1961, or simply Istra 1961 or Istra, is a Croatian professional football club from Pula, currently playing in the Croatian First League. It is a common opinion amongst many people that ''Istra 1961'' was founded in 1961 by merging two clubs from Pula, NK Uljanik and NK Pula, forming NK Istra. However, NK Istra is not the same club as NK Istra 1961. NK Istra 1961, then named NK Uljanik, was founded in 1964. NK Istra were competing in Prva HNL since the first season, but were relegated in the 1996–97 season to Druga HNL. They were promoted back to Prva HNL in the 1998–99 season, but they were relegated again in the next season, never coming back to Prva HNL. Meanwhile, NK Uljanik was in the shadow of NK Istra, but they were promoted to Prva HNL in the 2003–04 season and are the best club in Pula since then. Stadion Aldo Drosina ( it, Stadio Aldo Drosina) is a multi-use stadium in Pula, Croatia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of NK Istra 1961 and formerly NK Istra. Stjepan Deverić
Stjepan Deverić (born 20 August 1961) is a Yugoslav and later Croatian retired professional footballer and former football manager. Club career Deverić began his career with Dinamo Zagreb in the Yugoslav First League in 1979. He stayed at the club until 1984, playing in 345 games and scoring 158 goals before moving to Croatian rival Hajduk Split where he stayed from 1984 until 1987 playing in 114 games and scoring 42 goals. He later returned to Dinamo (1987–90). After Croatian independence, he played abroad in Austria with Sturm Graz (1991–92) and Lebring (1993–94). Milivoj Bračun
Milivoj Bračun (born 22 April 1958) is a Croatian football manager and former player who was most recently the manager of Slovenian First League side FC Koper. Born in Zagreb, SR Croatia, back then within Yugoslavia, Bračun played for Dinamo Zagreb, Red Star Belgrade and Elche CF. Nogometni klub Osijek ( en, Osijek Football Club), commonly referred to as NK Osijek or simply Osijek (), is a Croatian professional football club from Osijek. NK Međimurje is a Croatian football club based in Čakovec. The club is named after Međimurje, the region in northern Croatia where Čakovec is located. The club play their home games at the Stadion SRC Mladost, Čakovec, which has a total capacity of approximately 6,000. The club's supporters group is called the Angels. Igor Pamić (born 19 November 1969) is a Croatian former professional footballer and current manager. He made five appearances for the Croatia national team during his playing career. Playing career Club He was born in the village of Žminj in Istria and started his professional career at the club Istra Pula in early 1992. He left the club after two seasons for Dinamo Zagreb, where he spent another two seasons before moving to Osijek in July 1995. Elvis Scoria (born 5 July 1971) is a Croatian former football player and manager. He played for HNK Rijeka, Dinamo Zagreb (then called Croatia Zagreb), NK Istra, NK Zagreb and for Spanish club UE Lleida. The league was established in 1991 following the dissolution of the Yugoslav League. It is operated by the Croatian Football Federation. The league was formed in 1991 with the breakup of Yugoslavia and the dissolution of the Yugoslav Second League. The 1.
