NBB-Beker Women's
The Basketball Cup, formerly the NBB Cup ( nl, NBB-Beker), is an annual cup competition for Dutch basketball teams organised by the Basketball Nederland. Every team in the Netherlands can participate by signing up for the preliminary rounds. Professional basketball teams from the Dutch Basketball League (DBL) enter the tournament in the fourth round. From 1977 until 1990 professional teams were not allowed to participate in the competition. The tournament is organized in a knock-out format, with quarter- and semi-finals being two-legged series while the final is played in a single game. Blue Stars is a Dutch basketball club based in Diemen, North Holland. The club played in the top tier Eredivisie during the 60s, 70s and 80s. History Blue Stars Basketball was founded in 1947 by Jan Janbroers and is one of the oldest basketball clubs in the Netherlands. Feyenoord Basketball, for sponsorship reasons known as Zeeuw & Zeeuw Feyenoord Basketball, is a Dutch professional basketball club based in Rotterdam. The team plays in the BNXT League and plays its home games at the Topsportcentrum next to De Kuip in Rotterdam. Established in 1954, it became the basketball section of the football club Feyenoord in 2018. Rotterdam won their only trophy in 1985, when they won the domestic NBB Cup. DAS Delft is a Dutch basketball team based in Delft. During the 1980s and 1990s, they played in the top flight Eredivisie; today they play in the lower regional districts of Dutch basketball. History The team was founded in August 1968 as Delft All-Stars (DAS), by a gymnastic teacher named Kooperdraat and started with a group of players who were mostly footballers. D.B.V. Rowic is a Dutch basketball team based in Dordrecht. Founded on 1 April 1964, the team played in the first-level Eredivisie during the 1970s and 1980s. PSV Basketball
BC Eindhoven is a Dutch basketball club based in Eindhoven, that currently plays in the lower regional leagues. In the 1980s and 1990s, it played in the first level Dutch Basketball League (DBL). Its predecessor was EBC Pirates, which was founded in 1961. Later, the club was known as PSV Basketball as the team became a part of football club PSV Eindhoven. Due to investments by PSV, the team promoted to the lower national divisions. In 1980, PSV Basketball won the national NBB Cup. To play in the national level, the team was separated in 1982 and the BC Eindhoven entity was founded. In the 1987–88 season, Eindhoven promoted from the Promotiedivisie to the first-tier Eredivisie. 1975–76 FIBA European Champions Cup
The 1975–76 FIBA European Champions Cup was the 19th edition of the European top-tier level professional basketball club competition FIBA European Champions Cup (now called EuroLeague). The Final was held at the Patinoire des Vernets, in Geneva, Switzerland, on April 1, 1976. In a third consecutive final for these two teams, Mobilgirgi Varese defeated Real Madrid, by a result of 81–74. Competition system 23 teams.
