NASCAR America
''NASCAR America'' is Peacock's biweekly NASCAR news program, broadcast Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. ET. The show made its debut on February 24, 2014, the day after the 2014 Daytona 500. History Starting in 2015, the show was hosted on a regular basis by Krista Voda, who joined NBC after previously working for ''Fox NASCAR''. In 2019, NASCAR America debuted "NASCAR America Presents: Motormouths" on Wednesday nights, an alternative format to the show that would allow fans to call in to the hosts, analysts and guests. In 2020, that show format would be renamed "NASCAR America: Motormouths", and be increased from once to twice a week (on Tuesdays and Thursdays). On March 22, 2021, NBC announced that "Motormouths" would be moved from NBCSN to their Peacock streaming service. Those episodes would still air biweekly, now on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6PM. Auto racing (also known as car racing, motor racing, or automobile racing) is a motorsport involving the racing of automobiles for competition. Peacock is an American over-the-top video streaming service owned and operated by the Television and Streaming division of NBCUniversal, a subsidiary of Comcast. Named after the NBC logo, the service launched on July 15, 2020. The service primarily features series and film content from NBCUniversal studios and other third-party content providers, including television series, films, news, and sports programming. The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, LLC (NASCAR) is an American auto racing sanctioning and operating company that is best known for stock car racing. NBCSN was an American sports television channel owned by the NBC Sports Group division of NBCUniversal, a subsidiary of Comcast. It originally launched on July 1, 1995, as the Outdoor Life Network (OLN), which was dedicated to programming primarily involving fishing, hunting, outdoor adventure programs, and outdoor sports. By the turn of the 21st century, OLN became better known for its extensive coverage of the Tour de France but eventually began covering more "mainstream" sporting events, resulting in its relaunch as Versus in September 2006. ''NASCAR Race Hub'' is a daily NASCAR news program broadcast on Fox Sports 1 Monday through Thursday. Originally broadcast on Speed, the show replaced ''NASCAR Nation'' and ''This Week in NASCAR''. Krista Voda Kelley (born May 31, 1974) is an American sportscaster who covers auto racing as the play-by-play announcer for the ARCA Menards Series on MAVTV. She previously worked for ''NASCAR on Fox'' and '' NASCAR on Speed'' from 2003 to 2014 as the host of the pre-race show for the Truck Series and beginning in 2007 as a pit reporter for the NASCAR Cup Series. She also was a fill-in sideline reporter for Fox's NFL coverage. She then worked as the pre and post-race show host for the Cup Series for NBC from 2015 to 2020. Career Voda was born and raised in Clinton, Iowa and attended the University of Northern Iowa. In high school, she lettered in volleyball, basketball, and track and field. The 2014 Daytona 500, the 56th running of the Daytona 500, event, was held on February 23, 2014 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.
