Heroes Stadium (Lusaka)
Heroes Stadium is an 11,000-seat, open style football stadium serving the public school district North East ISD in San Antonio, Texas, USA. It opened in 2009, built on the site of the abandoned Longhorn Quarry, and has 2,525 paved parking spaces. $27.5 million of funding was provided by a 2007 school district bond. A video board system measuring was installed in 2010. Along with Comalander Stadium, Heroes is the home venue for the football, track and field, soccer, and band events for the high schools in the North East Independent School District, and also plays host to various athletic events for the district's middle and elementary schools. The Zambia Super League, known as the MTN Super League for sponsorship purposes, is the top association football league created in 1962 by the Football Association of Zambia. The winners of the league each season receives ZMW500,000 ($26,414.20) and a copper trophy engraved with their team name. Format The league is contested by 18 teams every season. Until 2018, it was scheduled to run within the calendar year from March to December. National Heroes Stadium (Lusaka)
Heroes National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Lusaka, Lusaka Province, Zambia. It is currently used mostly for football matches and hosts the home matches of the Zambia national football team. The stadium holds 60,000 spectators. It opened in 2014. The name of the stadium refers to the 1993 Zambia national football team air disaster which took the lives of most of its national football team.
