Nós–Unidade Popular
Nós–Unidade Popular (''We–People's Unity'') was a Galicia (Spain), Galician Left-wing politics, left-wing Galician nationalism, Galician independentist political party. It was formed by the merger of Assembleia da Mocidade Independentista, Primeira Linha and other organizations. Nós–UP never gained any institutional representation. The party announced its self-dissolution in June 2015. Activities In 2004, the party contested the European Parliamentary elections, obtaining 1,331 votes in Galicia (0.12%) and 2,516 votes in Spain. In the Galician elections of 2005, 1,749 votes (0.1%) were obtained. In 2005, the party organized a campaign to eliminate symbolic vestiges of Spain under Franco, Francoist rule from Galicia, presenting their concerns to the Xunta de Galicia. Nós Diario
''Nós'' (, meaning "custom" or "trend") is an Irish language culture and lifestyle magazine. Launched online on 17 March 2008 during Seachtain na Gaeilge, it began publishing a glossy print edition in November of the same year. Run on a voluntary basis, this full-colour monthly edition continued for over a year before Nós was printed as an entertainment supplement with Irish language weekly newspaper, Gaelscéal. In July 2013, Nós was relaunched with a new design and was circulated monthly, with extra content updated more frequently online. The magazine covers topics such as music, film, travel, design, activism and current affairs. It was launched by Tomaí Ó Conghaile, former assistant editor of Lá Nua and television and radio presenter with BBC NI, and relies on a large network of contributors throughout Ireland and abroad. European Parliament
The European Parliament (EP) is one of the legislative bodies of the European Union and one of its seven institutions. Together with the Council of the European Union (known as the Council and informally as the Council of Ministers), it adopts European legislation, following a proposal by the European Commission. The 2011 Spanish local elections were held on Sunday, 22 May 2011, to elect all 68,230 councillors in the 8,116 municipalities of Spain and all 1,040 seats in 38 provincial deputations. The elections were held simultaneously with regional elections in thirteen autonomous communities, as well as local elections in the three foral deputations of the Basque Country and the eleven island councils in the Balearic and Canary Islands. The days before the elections were marked by the 2011 Spanish protests which had been held in different cities across Spain since 15 May. Ponteareas
Ponteareas is town and municipality in the province of Pontevedra, in Spain. It is located on the Vigo-Benavente highway and on the river Tea, a right-hand tributary of the Miño. It is the chief town of a fertile hilly region, which produces wine, grain and fruit, and contains many cattle farms. Spanish Local And Regional Elections, 2007
The 2007 Spanish local elections were held on Sunday, 27 May 2007, to elect all 66,131 councillors in the 8,111 municipalities of Spain and all 1,038 seats in 38 provincial deputations. The elections were held simultaneously with regional elections in thirteen autonomous communities, as well as local elections in the three foral deputations of the Basque Country and the eleven island councils in the Balearic and Canary Islands. The results saw few changes overall; most incumbent governments retained their majority, with only a few exceptions. The PP government in the Balearics fell, and a coalition led by PSOE took power. The 2009 Galician regional election was held on Sunday, 1 March 2009, to elect the 8th Parliament of the autonomous community of Galicia. All 75 seats in the Parliament were up for election. The election was held simultaneously with a regional election in the Basque Country. The election saw the People's Party (PP) retake control of the parliament from the coalition of the Socialists' Party of Galicia (PSdeG–PSOE) and the Galician Nationalist Bloc (BNG), with a majority of 1 seat. The 2004 European Parliament election in Spain was held on Sunday, 13 June 2004, as part of the EU-wide election to elect the 6th European Parliament.
