Næsby Boldklub is a Danish football club currently playing in the Danish 3rd Division, the fourth tier of Danish football. They play at ALPI Arena Næsby in Kirkendrup, Odense N. Their home ground has a capacity of 2,500. History Early years Næsby Boldklub was founded in 1938. In the first year of the club's existence, it played its home matches at Højløkke Allé: a highly questionable pitch which was therefore given the unfavourable nickname ''Grusgraven'' ("the gravel pit"). In 1950, Næsby Boldklub moved to a ground on Søren Eriksensvej, and in 1968 a new clubhouse was inaugurated which replace the so-called German barracks left behind following World War II. Since 1984, the club has been located on Stærehusvej in the Odense suburb of Kirkendrup. In 1951, Næsby Boldklub promoted to Series 1, the sixth tier of Danish football. Danish Cup
The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. The latest edition, 2017-18 Danish Cup, was won by Superliga-side Brøndby, beating Superliga-side Silkeborg 3–1 on 10 May 2018 at Parken Stadium, thereby winning their first domestic trophy since 2008. FC Fyn
FC Fyn was a Danish football club from Odense on Funen. The club was founded in 2006 and its first appearance was in the 2006–07 season. FC Fyn played their home matches at Odense Atletikstadion, which is the current home ground of B 1909 and B 1913. The first manager was former Zambia national coach Roald Poulsen. Poulsen resigned for personal reasons in the end of 2007 and was replaced by Viggo Jensen. The team's home shirt was half red and half blue, while the away shirt was yellow. 2011–12 Danish 2nd Divisions
The 2011–12 Danish 2nd Divisions, beginning on 6 August 2011 and ending on 16 June 2012, will be the divided in two groups of sixteen teams. The two group winners will face each other for a single promotion spot in a two-legged play-off, rather than the normal three promotion spots, as decided in March 2010. This is done to reduce the First Division from 14 to 12 teams. Because of an uneven distribution of West and East-teams (divided by the Great Belt), two East-teams, Lolland-Falster Alliancen and BK Skjold, were drawn into the West-division. The 2nd Division ( da, Danmarksturneringens 2. division or Herre-DM 2. division) is a semi-professional association football league for men and the third division in Denmark. It is organised by the Divisionsforeningen on behalf of the Danish Football Association (Danish FA; DBU) as part of the nation-wide Danmarksturneringen i fodbold (Herre-DM) and is positioned between the second-tier 1st Division and the fourth-tier Danish 3rd Division in the Danish football league system. Clubs in the league must meet certain criteria concerning appropriate facilities and finances. All of the 2nd Division clubs qualify for the proper rounds of the DBU Pokalen. It is the highest football league in Denmark and is currently contested by 12 teams each year, with two teams relegated.
