Norrköping Municipality
Norrköping Municipality (''Norrköpings kommun'') is a municipality in Östergötland County in southeast Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Norrköping, with some 90,000 inhabitants. It is the largest municipality in Östergötland. By the time of the local government reform of 1971 the ''City of Norrköping'' was amalgamated with the rural municipality of ''Skärblacka'' forming a new municipality of unitary type. In 1974 ''Vikbolandet'' was added. The number of original local government units (as of 1863) which are in the present municipality is 26. Nyköping Municipality
Nyköping Municipality ( sv, Nyköpings kommun) is a municipality in Södermanland County in southeast Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Nyköping, which is containing a majority of the residents. Its southern tip in the district of Tunaberg is the southernmost point of mainland Svealand, one of the three original crowns forming Sweden. The municipality was created in 1971 with the amalgamation of the ''City of Nyköping'' and a great number of other municipalities. It was split up in three parts in 1992, when Gnesta Municipality and Trosa Municipality were created. The rural areas of the modern municipality is a merger between the historical rural districts of Jönåker in the west and Rönö in the east, with a portion of the Jönåker hundred being replaced by the southeastern part of Oppunda. Östergötland County ( sv, Östergötlands län) is a county or ''län'' in southeastern Sweden. It has land borders with the counties of Kalmar to the southeast, Jönköping to the southwest, Örebro to the northwest, and Södermanland to the northeast. Södermanland County ( sv, Södermanlands län) is a county or '' län'' on the southeast coast of Sweden. In the local Sörmlandic dialects it is virtually universally shortened and pronounced as Sörmlands län, or simply Sörmland, which is the dominant pronunciation and spelling inside the county. For example, the name of the local regional council is ''Region Sörmland''. It borders the counties of Östergötland, Örebro, Västmanland, Uppsala, Stockholm and to the Baltic Sea.
