Nándor Hargitai
Nándor Hargitai also known as Nándor Szirmai (20 October 1919 – 11 September 2006) was a Hungarian football midfielder. Career Born in Mátraszele, he begin his career at the youth team of Dorogi FC. He debuted at age 17 for Dorogi senior team in the 1936–37 season but a year later he was signing with Ferencvárosi TC. He made only one appearance for Ferencváros in the 1937–38 season when they won the Hungarian championship. While playing with Ferencváros he changed his name to Nándor Szirmai. In the 1938–39 season, he joined another Hungarian top-flight club, Phöbus FC. In 1940 he moved to Yugoslav club NAK Novi Sad. However after only one season, and with Second World War on their way, the city of Novi Sad was occupied by Hungarian forces, and NAK begin to be known as Újvideki AC and play in the Hungarian championship. Mátraszele
Mátraszele is a village in Nógrád County, Hungary, the Zagyva river flows through the settlement. As of 2022 census, it has a population of 904 (see Demographics). The village located 8.5 km from (Nr. 81) Hatvan–Fiľakovo railway line, 12.0 km far from Salgótarján, 10.4 km from the main road 21 and 52.8 km from the M3 motorway. The Hungarian Cup ( hu, Magyar Kupa) is the Hungarian cup competition for football clubs. It was started by the Hungarian Football Association, the ''Magyar Labdarúgó Szövetség,'' in 1909, eight years after the commencement of the Hungarian League ( hu, Nemzeti Bajnokság). Besides all of the professional clubs of Hungary numerous amateur sides take part every year. These have to qualify through local cup competitions. The most successful participant in the Magyar Kupa has been Ferencváros with 24 wins, followed by local rivals MTK with 12 cups. The current holder is Ferencváros, having won their 24th title in 2022. The Nemzeti Bajnokság (, "National Championship"), also known as NB I, is the top level of the Hungarian football league system. The league is officially named OTP Bank Liga after its title sponsor OTP Bank. UEFA currently ranks the league 28th in Europe. Twelve teams compete in the league, playing each other three times, once at home, once away, and the third match is played at the stadium that the last match was not played at. At the end of the season, the top team enters the qualification for the UEFA Champions League, while the runner-up and the third place, together with the winner of the Magyar Kupa enter the UEFA Europa Conference League qualification rounds.
