Nymphs (Finnish TV Series)
''Nymphs'' (Finnish: ''Nymfit'') is a Finnish fantasy-drama television series. The series is based on Greek mythology as the beautiful and immortal nymphs are living in a modern-day Helsinki. The nymphs need to have sex once a month in order to stay alive and run away from satyrs that persecute them. Gummerus is publishing ''Nymfit'' as a book series. The first part of the book was written by Sari Luhtanen and Miikko Oikkonen and was titled ''Nymfit – Montpellierin legenda'' (''Nymphs – The Legend of Montpellier''). The Finnish version of the book was published August 29, 2013 in Finland. The translation rights have been sold internationally. Fantasy
Fantasy is a genre of speculative fiction involving Magic (supernatural), magical elements, typically set in a fictional universe and sometimes inspired by mythology and folklore. Laura Malmivaara (born 10 December 1982), performing under the stage name Malla, is a Finnish actress and singer. Early life Malmivaara was born in Jyväskylä in 1982, and was raised there. Her name at birth was Laura Malmivaara, but she uses the name Malla to avoid confusion with her cousin, actress Laura Malmivaara. She is of Sámi peoples, Sámi descent, through her grandfather. Mikko Leppilampi
Mikko Johannes Leppilampi (born 22 September 1978 in Pälkäne, Finland) is a Finnish actor, musician, and TV host. He is the son of Jukka Leppilampi (born 1954), a Finnish gospel musician. Leppilampi is considered to be one of the most promising stars of Finland's movie industry in the new millennium. He shot to fame as a result of his debut movie '' Helmiä ja sikoja'', for which he also won a Jussi award.
