Nye Borgerliges Ungdom
Nye Borgerliges Ungdom (NBU) was the youth wing of the Danish political party Nye Borgerlige. It was founded in 2015 as "Unge Nye Borgerlige" and changed to its present name the following year. It was dissolved in March 2024. Organisation Nye Borgerliges Ungdom's leading organ was its executive committee ('), which consists of eight members elected at the youth wing's annual conference. In addition, Nye Borgerliges Ungdom consisted of seven local associations with their own chairmen and boards. These were North Jutland, Mid Jutland, South Jutland, Funen, Zealand, Copenhagen and North Zealand. National Conservatism
National conservatism is a nationalist variant of conservatism that concentrates on upholding national and cultural identity. National conservatives usually combine nationalism with conservative stances promoting traditional cultural values, family values and opposition to immigration. It shares characteristics with traditionalist conservatism and social conservatism since all three variations focus on preservation and tradition. As national conservatism seeks to preserve national interests, traditionalist conservatism emphasizes the preservation of social order. TV 2 (Denmark)
TV 2 (''TV to'') is a Danish government-owned broadcast and subscription television station in Denmark based in Odense, Funen. History Since 1949, Danmarks Radio had been the sole provider of television in Denmark. Wanting to end the monopoly, the Danish Parliament voted on 30 May 1986, to create TV2, as a second choice for public service television. Upon its establishment, it had first begun its experimental test transmissions, and then, two years later, it had therefore commenced its official broadcast on 1 October 1988, with its first program being ''Danish Symphony'' which is broadcast at 17:00, followed by the news at 19:30. Subscription and overseas availability From 1 November 2009, all Danish television broadcasting became digital with DVB-T and MPEG4 standard. Danish People's Party
The Danish People's Party ( da, Dansk Folkeparti, DPP/DF) is a nationalist and right-wing populist political party in Denmark. It was formed in 1995 by former members of the Progress Party (FrP). The DPP lent its support to the Venstre– Conservative People's Party coalition government that ruled from the general election of 2001 until the 2011 election defeat. While not part of the cabinet, DPP cooperated closely with the governing coalition on most issues and received support for key political stances in return, to the point that the government was commonly referred to as the "VKO-government" (O being DPP's election symbol). It also provided parliamentary support to Lars Løkke Rasmussen's cabinets from 2016 to 2019, again without participating in it. Lars Boje Mathiesen
Lars Boje Mathiesen (born 21 May 1975) is a Danish politician who has been an independent member of the Danish Parliament, the Folketing, since March 2023. Previously a member of the Nye Borgerlige (New Right) political party before his expulsion in 2023, he was first elected to the Folketing at the 2019 general election for the Nye Borgerlige and again at the 2022 general election. In February 2023, he succeeded Pernille Vermund as leader of the Nye Borgerlige, but was dismissed and expelled from the party in March after disputes over remuneration and campaign finances. Background Boje was born on 21 May 1975 in Skive and is the son of musician Peter Boje Mathiesen and Inge Burmølle Mathiesen. He grew up on a disused farm near Ribe, according to his own statement in a hippie family. He is a trained primary schoolteacher, having studied at Ribe Seminarium and Nørre Nissum Seminarium in 2000 to 2005. He worked as a primary schoolteacher at various schools from 2005 to 2019. A ...
