Nyceryx Hyposticta
''Nyceryx hyposticta'' is a moth of the family Sphingidae. It is known from Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. It is the largest species in the genus ''Nyceryx ''Nyceryx'' is a genus of moths in the family Sphingidae. The genus was erected by Jean Baptiste Boisduval in 1875. The Sphingidae are a family of moths (Lepidoptera) called sphinx moths, also colloquially known as hawk moths, with many of their caterpillars known as “hornworms”; it includes about 1,450 species.
