Nyaay
''Nyaay'' (also spelled Nyay, meaning Justice) was a daily TV series directed by Sudhir Mishra, written by Pawan K Sethhi, produced by Harish Thawani of Nimbus Corporation and broadcast and Executive Producer Sushil Datta on Doordarshan's Metro network from 1999–2001. It ran for 470 episodes on the DD Network. It is a social drama, revolving around three friends, their marriage, their career and their families. Varsha is the main protagonist, with her husband Tarun. The show saw many cast changes in the latter half, with a lot of lead artists being replaced. Sudhir Mishra (born 22 January 1959) is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for directing the films ''Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi'', ''Dharavi (film), Dharavi'' and ''Chameli (film), Chameli''. Mishra has had a 30-year career, with his work recognised by the Government of India with three National Awards from the president of India, as well as Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres from the French government. DD Metro
DD Metro also known as DD 2 was an Indian free-to-air television channel. It was launched in 1984 as DD2 in Delhi as an alternative to DD National. Later, it increased its coverage area by expanding to Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. In 1993, the channel was rebranded as DD-2 Metro. On 3 November 2003, the Prasar Bharati Corporation replaced DD Metro with their new news channel, DD News. Barkha Madan
Barkha Madan, now known as Gyalten Samten is an Indian religious monk and nun as well as former model, beauty queen, actress and film producer who has appeared in Hindi and Punjabi language films. Dinesh Thakur (1947 – 20 September 2012) was an Indian theatre director, actor in theatre, television and Hindi film, where most notably he appeared as one of the leads in ''Rajnigandha'' 1974 and directed by Basu Chatterjee, which won both Filmfare Best Movie Award and the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Movie. Dinesh Thakur was born in 1947 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. He was the founder-director of ANK productions, a Mumbai-based theatre company, established in 1976.
