Nwe Darli Tun ( my, နွယ်ဒါလီထွန်း; also spelt Nwe Darli Htun, born 25 July 1987) is a Burmese actress and model. She began her entertainment career in 2012 as a photo model. She then made her acting debut in 2015, and gained popularity after starring in the 2017 thriller series ''Ghost Hunter'' which brought her wider recognition. The Salt March, also known as the Salt Satyagraha, Dandi March and the Dandi Satyagraha, was an act of nonviolent civil disobedience in colonial India led by Mahatma Gandhi. The twenty-four day march lasted from 12 March to 6 April 1930 as a direct action campaign of tax resistance and nonviolent protest against the British salt monopoly. Another reason for this march was that the Civil Disobedience Movement needed a strong inauguration that would inspire more people to follow Gandhi's example. Gandhi started this march with 78 of his trusted volunteers. The march spanned , from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi, which was called Navsari at that time (now in the state of Gujarat). The three-finger salute is a hand gesture made by raising the index, middle and ring fingers, while holding the thumb to the little finger, and raising the hand with the palm facing out in a salute. The gesture has been adopted by pro-democracy protest movements in Southeast Asia, mainly in Thailand and Myanmar, as well as in Hong Kong. Origins Variations of the three-finger salute have been used around the world by various separatist and nationalist groups for decades.
