George Nuttall
George Henry Falkiner Nuttall FRS (5 July 1862 – 16 December 1937) was an American-British bacteriologist who contributed much to the knowledge of parasites and of insect carriers of diseases. He made significant innovative discoveries in immunology, about life under aseptic conditions, in blood chemistry, and about diseases transmitted by arthropods, especially ticks. He carried out investigations into the distribution of Anopheline mosquitoes in England in relation to the previous prevalence of malaria there. With William Welch he identified the organism responsible for causing gas gangrene. Life Nuttall was born in San Francisco, the second of three sons and two daughters of Robert Kennedy Nuttall, a British doctor who had migrated to San Francisco in 1850, and Magdalena, daughter of John Parrott of San Francisco. Katharina Nuttall
Katharina Nuttall (born 14 July 1972) is an artist, film composer and music producer who was born in Drammen, Norway. Nuttall lives in Stockholm, Sweden but is a Norwegian citizen with a Norwegian mother and a father from the UK. Her debut album ''This Is How I Feel'' was released in 2007, followed by ''Cherry Flavour Substitute'' in 2008. Songs from the two albums were put together on the European release ''Cherry Flavour Substitute Limited Edition'', an album that was awarded a German Record Critics Award in 2009. Katharina Nuttall has also made her name as a producer to other artists, most notably Ane Brun. In 2008, Nuttall composed and recorded the music to the Swedish feature film Rosa the Movie. Kate Henshaw, also known as Kate Henshaw-Nuttall (born 19 July 1971), is a Nigerian actress. In 2008 she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in the movie ''Stronger than Pain''. Joseph "Joey" Nuttall (31 August 1869 - 1 June 1942) was an accomplished English swimmer in the 1880s and 1890s, and into the early 1900s. He was the amateur English 100-yard and 220-yard champion from 1886 to 1888. John Mitchell Nuttall
John Mitchell Nuttall (21 July 1890 – 28 January 1958) was an English physicist, born in Todmorden. He is best remembered for his work with the physicist Hans Geiger, which resulted in the Geiger–Nuttall law of radioactive decay. Nuttall graduated from the University of Manchester in 1911 and was appointed Assistant Lecturer in Physics at the University of Leeds. During World War I, he served as a captain with the Royal Engineers. In 1921 he became Assistant Director of the University of Manchester's Physical Laboratories, a post he held until 1955. G. D. Jeffrey Addison Nuttall (8 July 1933 – 4 January 2004) was an English poet, publisher, actor, painter, sculptor, jazz trumpeter, anarchist and social commentator who was a key part of the British 1960s counter-culture. He was the brother of literary critic A. D. Nuttall. Life and work Nuttall was born in Clitheroe, Lancashire, and grew up in Orcop, a village in Herefordshire. He studied painting in the years after the Second World War and began publishing poetry in the early 1960s. Sir Harry Nuttall, 4th Baronet (born ) is a British sports marketing entrepreneur and former racing driver. He has been a senior advisor to the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team since 2012.
