Ben Nutley (born 7 April 1992) is an English rugby union player for RFU Championship side Coventry RFC. He began his career at hometown club Luton Rugby Club, Luton RFC before joining Saints' Academy in 2010. He plays as a Flanker (rugby union), Flanker or a Rugby union positions#Locks, Lock. Bobby Nutley
Bobby Nutley (10 September 1916 – 14 July 1996) was a Scottish footballer, who played for Blantyre Victoria, Hibernian, Portsmouth and Queen of the South. In the late 1930s, Nutley was the regular left winger for Hibs. He represented the Scottish League once, in 1939. His football career was then interrupted by the Second World War. After making just one league appearance for Hibs after the end of the war, Nutley played in the Football League for Portsmouth. Colin James Nutley (born 28 February 1944) is an English director successful in the Swedish film industry. Career Nutley went to Portsmouth Art College and began his career in British television as a graphic designer. He then turned to drama and documentary film-making for ITV, BBC and Channel 4. Danny Nutley (born 4 February 1974 in Brisbane, Queensland), also known by the nickname of "Nuts", is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. A Queensland State of Origin representative , he played his club football with the South Queensland Crushers, Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks and Sydney Roosters in Australia, and with the Warrington Wolves and the Castleford Tigers ( Heritage No. 848) in England. Richard Nutley (1670–1729) was an English-born barrister, politician and judge assigned to official duty in early eighteenth-century Ireland. Whilst having a fascinating legal and political career, he also enjoyed the friendship of Jonathan Swift. Family He was the second son of the famed William Nutley, a leading barrister of the Middle Temple; his brother, also named William, had some reputation as a poet. Nutley is a village in the Wealden District of East Sussex, England. It lies about north-west of Uckfield, the main road being the A22. Nutley, Fairwarp and Maresfield together form the Maresfield civil parish. The village is on the southern edge of Ashdown Forest which was a deer hunting reserve from the time of King Edward II. Iron has also played an important role in the history of the area. History The Romans operated nearby in Duddleswell and Maresfield, working the iron ore to be found in the local Weald Clay using bloomeries. Roman coins and waste from furnaces has been found at these locations. When the Romans left Britain in the 5th century AD Saxon settlers lived on the site of Nutley. Nutley Windmill is a grade II* listed open trestle post mill at Nutley, East Sussex, England which has been restored to working order. History Nutley Windmill is thought to have been moved from Kilndown, Goudhurst, Kent circa 1817. The first record of a windmill at Nutley is in 1840. A timber in the mill has been dated by dendrochronology to 1738–70, and the main post is even older, dating to 1533–70. In 1870, the mill was painted white and working on four common sails. The mill was modernised in the 1880s, with the original wooden windshaft being replaced by a cast-iron one, and spring sails replacing the commons. Larger millstones were added. The mill was tarred at about this point, as shown by a photo dated 1890. She worked by wind until 1908, although latterly in poor condition. In 1928, the owner of the mill, Lady Castle Stewart, had the mill shored up with brick piers and steel joists below the body. These allowed the mill to survive until she could be restored. ...
