Nusrat Javed
Nusrat Javed ( ur, ), is a Pakistani columnist, journalist and a former news anchor. Early life and career Nusrat Javed was born on 14 March 1954. He is among the senior most journalists in Pakistan having started his career in 1975. Beginning as a reporter, he made a mark as a columnist, before shifting to television. However, since 2019, he is no longer associated with television, and instead concentrates on writing columns. Though based in Islamabad, his writings often show a longing for his city of Lahore. Javed began his television career with his program Bolta Pakistan on AAJ TV in 2007. He and his co-host, Mushtaq Minhas, then moved to Dunya TV to host the talk show Dunya Mere Agay, which followed the same format as Bolta Pakistan, but later came back to AAJ TV to resume Bolta Pakistan. A columnist is a person who writes for publication in a series, creating an article that usually offers commentary and opinions. Dawn News
Dawn News is one of Pakistan's 24-hour Urdu news channel. Based in Karachi, the station is a subsidiary of Pakistan Herald Publications Limited (PHPL), Pakistan's largest English-language media group. The test transmission of the station occurred on 25 May 2007, and the channel went live on 23 July 2007. Originally broadcast in English, on 15 May 2010, Dawn News converted into an Urdu news channel after successful test transmission of four hours a day. BOL News
BOL Network ( ur, ) is a media conglomerate based in Karachi owned by Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh who also served as the CEO and chairman of the media network. According to Declan Walsh Bol Network was under the auspices of the fake diploma mill Axact. The media group was supposed to incorporate television, digital media, cinema and theater as well as digital media, but when the parent company of Bol, Axact, was unmasked as a diploma mill selling fake degrees Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority revoked the licence that it had awarded BOL, and the network was not even able to start transmission. Pakistani journalist Kamran Khan was appointed as the editor in chief, but he quit after the Axact scandal surfaced and stated that his conscience did not let him be affiliated with such a network.
