Nurul Hasan (cricketer)
Quazi Nurul Hasan Sohan ( bn, কাজী নুরুল হাসান সোহান; born 21 November 1993) is a Bangladeshi cricketer who represents Bangladesh in international stage in all formats. Sohan is well known in Bangladesh for his keeping skills and great flexibility. Sohan is a wicket-keeper batter and plays as a right-handed batter lower down the order. His main role is a hard-hitting finisher. He was born in Khulna, Bangladesh. In July 2022, he was named as the captain of the Twenty20 International (T20I) team for Bangladesh's tour of Zimbabwe. Domestic career He has played for Sylhet Super Stars in the Bangladesh Premier League in 2015. Twenty20 International
A Twenty20 International (T20I) is a form of cricket, played between two of the international members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), in which each team faces a maximum of twenty overs. The matches have top-class status and are the highest T20 standard. The game is played under the rules of Twenty20 cricket. Starting from the format's inception in 2005, T20I status only applied to Full Members and some Associate Member teams. However, in April 2018, the ICC announced that it would grant T20I status to all its 105 members from 1 January 2019. 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup
The 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup was the third edition of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup held in Karachi, Pakistan and Colombo, Sri Lanka. Eight teams participated in the tournament including five under-23 age level teams of Test nations and top three teams from 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier. This tournament was organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). Initially, Pakistan was sole host for the tournament but India and BCCI refused to send Indian players to Pakistan. Following the increasing political tensions between India and Pakistan, ACC announced that Sri Lanka would be the co-host whilst India's matches and knockout stage will be played there. Bangladeshi Cricket Team In New Zealand In 2016–17
The Bangladeshi cricket team toured New Zealand from December 2016 to January 2017 to play two Test matches, three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20Is). New Zealand won both the ODI and T20I series 3–0 and won the Test series 2–0. Mushfiqur Rahim ( bn, মুশফিকুর রহিম; born 9 May 1987) is a Bangladeshi cricketer and the former captain and vice-captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team. He is a right-handed middle-order batsman and wicket-keeper in the Bangladesh Cricket Team. Mushfiqur started his international career in 2005 against England at the age of 16. He was made to play as a specialist batsman in the first Test match of his career. He thus became the youngest player to play at Lord's Cricket Stadium. The Zimbabwean cricket team toured Bangladesh in November 2015. In January 2016 the BCB confirmed a further four T20I matches to be played later the same month in Bangladesh as preparation for the Asia Cup and the World Twenty20. The 2018–19 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League was an edition of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, a List A cricket competition that was held in Bangladesh. It was the sixth edition of the tournament with List A status, although almost 35 seasons have been played before achieving the status. It started on 8 March, and concluded on 23 April 2019. The Dhaka Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League is a Twenty20 cricket competition in Bangladesh. Dhaka Dynamites
The Dhaka Dominators (Dhakaiya/ bn, ঢাকা ডমিনেটর্স) is a franchise cricket team that plays in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), representing the country's Dhaka City, Dhaka. The team was originally established in 2012 for the inaugural BPL season as the Dhaka Gladiators and they won both the 2012 and 2013 editions of the tournament. The Gladiators were one of the teams dissolved in 2013 after the second edition. The franchise was sold to BEXIMCO Group and rebranded as Dhaka Dynamites. For the 2015 edition of the BPL, the team were coached by former South African cricketer Mickey Arthur, and captained by Kumar Sangakkara. The 2017–18 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League was an edition of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, a List A cricket competition that was held in Bangladesh.
