Nungdiaw Sakcharuporn ( th, หนึ่งเดียว ศักดิ์จารุพร, born 14 May 1972) is a retired Thai professional boxer who held the WBU light flyweight world champion in 1990s. Biography and career Sakcharuporn was born in Ban Dan Makham Tia, Kanchanaburi (currently being promoted as a Dan Makham Tia district), Kanchanaburi province. He used to Muay Thai under the name "Muangkan Buntasuwan" (เมืองกาญจน์ บันตะสุวรรณ) for 12 years before turning to the professional career. Vibhavadi Rangsit Road ( th, ถนนวิภาวดีรังสิต, ) or Highway 31, often informally called Vibhavadi Road (), is a highway in Thailand. The road begins at Phaya Thai district in Bangkok and crosses Chatuchak, Lak Si, and Don Mueang districts before merging with Phahonyothin Road (Highway 1) at Khu Khot subdistrict, Lam Luk Ka district, Pathum Thani Province. Light flyweight, also known as junior flyweight or super strawweight, is a weight class in boxing. Professional boxing The weight limit at light flyweight in professional boxing is 108 pounds (49 kilograms). When New York legalized boxing in 1920, the law stipulated a "junior flyweight" class, with a weight limit of 99 pounds. When the National Boxing Association was formed in 1921, it also recognized this weight class. However, on January 19, 1922, the NBA decided to withdraw recognition of the junior flyweight division. On December 31, 1929, the New York State Athletic Commission also abolished the junior flyweight class. No champion had been crowned in this division prior to its abolition. Huai Khwang ( th, ห้วยขวาง, ) is one of the 50 districts (khet) of Bangkok, Thailand. It is east of the city centre. Neighbouring districts are Chatuchak, Wang Thonglang, Bang Kapi, Suan Luang, Watthana, Ratchathewi, and Din Daeng. History Huai Khwang district was established in an area formerly part of Phaya Thai in 1973. Mzukisi Sikali, (30 July 1971 – 16 September 2005), was a South African boxer who served as a world champion in three different weight categories: junior flyweight, flyweight, and super flyweight. Murder Sikali, who was regarded as one of South Africa's top boxers, was stabbed to death after he attempted to fight off a couple of muggers in Uitenhage, near Port Elizabeth. The muggers were arrested around an hour after the incident; and a mobile phone, which had been stolen from Sikali, was also recovered. Josué Camacho Santiago (Born January 31, 1969) is a Puerto Rican who was a world boxing champion. He was born in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. His nickname is Dickie, and he was sometimes advertised as Dickie Camacho. Professional boxing career Camacho began his professional boxing career, after a stellar amateur career, when he fought another debutante, Reynaldo Vazquez, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, August 27 of 1988. Camacho won by a four-round decision. On October 6 of that year, Camacho fought undefeated (2-0-1) Jose Luis De Jesus in Guaynabo, winning by a four-round split decision. Less than a month later, he scored his first knockout win, beating Luis Vargas on November 3, by a third-round knockout, in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico.
