Sarth Calhoun is an American musician from Brooklyn, New York. Biography Sarth Calhoun grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He began playing music and writing lyrics at age six. In his teens, he stopped buying comic books to save up for his first bass guitar. His music career started with various rock bands around New York City, during which time he developed a love of computers and the Internet, and formed electronica-improv group, Gebbeth. In 1999 he, Leah Coloff (vocals/lyrics/cello), Tony Diodore (violin, guitar), and Marcus Righter (drums) formed Number19, a rock band that developed experimental sounds within alternative and indie rock settings. Leah Coloff
Leah Coloff is an American singer-songwriter, and cellist who lives in Brooklyn, New York City, United States. Biography Leah Coloff started cello lessons at the age of six. She attended the New England Conservatory. However, she became disillusioned, finding "the recital halls stuffed with haughty academics and enema-lovin' white people...", and found herself drawn to more raucous, darker music, and moved to Brooklyn, New York upon graduating. In 1999 she produced her debut rock album, ''Dark Sweet Heart'' under Searching Eye Records. It was recorded at Fireproof Recording in Brooklyn by Adam Lasus. It features her with Ben Shapiro on guitar and Rich Kulsar on drums accompanying her. Also in 1999, she joined the band Number19 with Sarth Calhoun, Tony Diodore, and Marcus Righter. Lucibel Crater
Lucibel Crater is a band from Brooklyn, New York. Their style is different from song to song but blends live electronic music, alternative rock, and indie rock. Lucibel Crater recorded their EP Miracles in 2007. In 2008 they released their first full-length CD, ''The Family Album''. It was mixed by Bryce Goggin. ''The Family Album'' refers to and explores the theme of American Life. Coloff's influences on the album include Tom Cora and Cormac McCarthy. Coloff said about the album, :“Through the family theme we intended to talk about the American Life. When we wrote the songs we were permeated with disenchantment and bitterness. BM Linx
BM Linx was a psychedelic rock group formed in 2005 by Tony Diodore (guitar & violin) with Jonathan Murray (bass), and Andrew Griffith (drums). The origin of the name stems from a friend of Diodore's, who owned a Mercury Lynx The North American version of the Ford Escort is a range of cars that was sold by Ford from the 1981 to 2003 model years. The direct successor of the Ford Pinto, the Escort also largely overtook the role of the European-imported Ford Fiesta as ..., but put a BMW badge on the front and called it a BM Linx. The band released its EP, ''The Portable Genius'' in 2006, and full-length album ''Black Entertainment'' in 2008.
