Nukun Prachuapmo ( th, นุกูล ประจวบเหมาะ; 25 July 1929 – 5 February 2023) was a Thai politician. He served as Minister of Transport from 1991 to March 1992 and again from June to September 1992. Samak Sundaravej ( th, สมัคร สุนทรเวช, , ; 13 June 1935 – 24 November 2009) was a Thai politician who briefly served as the Prime Minister of Thailand and Minister of Defense in 2008, as well as the leader of the People's Power Party in 2008. Controversy ''Kom Chad Luek'' became the target of mass protests after it printed an article on 24 March 2006 that omitted part of a quote by anti-government protest leader Sondhi Limthongkul, with the misquote suggesting Sondhi wanted King Bhumibol Adulyadej to abdicate, which was viewed as an insult to the king, or lèse majesté, which is a crime in Thailand.
