Nuff Said (2023)
Nuff Said was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event promoted by the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). It took place on February 11, 2023, in Tampa, Florida. The name of the event was based on current NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Tyrus, who uses it as his catchphrase, and had a show by the same name on the Fox News streaming network Fox Nation. Fourteen matches were contested at the event, including four on the pre-show. In the main event, Tyrus defeated Matt Cardona to retain the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship. In other prominent matches, Cyon defeated Homicide to retain the NWA National Heavyweight Championship, Kamille defeated Angelina Love in a No Disqualification match to retain the NWA World Women's Championship, and The Renegade Twins (Charlette Renegade and Robyn Renegade) defeated Pretty Empowered (Ella Envy and Kenzie Paige) to win the NWA World Women's Tag Team Championship. Tyrus (wrestler)
George Murdoch (born February 21, 1980) is an American professional wrestler and cable news personality known by his ring/stage name Tyrus. As a wrestler, he is signed to the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), where he is the reigning NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion in his first reign. As a cable news personality, he appears on Fox News, and its sister streaming service Fox Nation, primarily as a co-host/panelist on the late-night talk show ''Gutfeld!'', as well as a contributor/fill-in host on other programs. The NWA World Women's Championship is a women's professional wrestling world championship created and promoted by the American professional wrestling promotion National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). The title was first won by Mildred Burke in 1937 defeating Clara Mortensen. The championship is currently held by Kamille, who is in her first reign. In professional wrestling, a heel (also known as a ''rudo'' in '' lucha libre'') is a wrestler who portrays a villain, "bad guy", or "rulebreaker", and acts as an antagonist to the faces, who are the heroic protagonist or "good guy" characters. Not everything a heel wrestler does must be villainous: heels need only to be booed or jeered by the audience to be effective characters, although most truly successful heels embrace other aspects of their devious personalities, such as cheating to win or using foreign objects. In professional wrestling, a face (babyface) is a heroic, "good guy" or "fan favorite" wrestler, booked (scripted) by the promotion with the aim of being cheered by fans, and acts as a protagonist to the heels, who are the villainous antagonist or "bad guy" characters. Traditionally, they wrestle within the rules and avoid cheating (in contrast to the villains who use illegal moves and call in additional wrestlers to do their work for them) while behaving positively towards the referee and the audience. The NWA World Women's Tag Team Championship is a women's professional wrestling tag team championship defended in member promotions of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). History From the early 1950s through 1983, it was the first women's world tag team championship in professional wrestling and was initially referred to simply as the Women's World Tag Team Championship, before briefly adopting the NWA prefix.
