Nuacht RTÉ le TG4 (Irish for ''RTÉ and TG4 News'') is the main news service for Irish speakers on RTÉ television. The service is broadcast from the news studios at Baile na hAbhann in the Connemara Gaeltacht, County Galway, Ireland.a Nuacht RTÉ le TG4 broadcasts daily at 5:00pm on the RTÉ News channel and at 5:40pm on RTÉ One with a repeat available on rte.ie and the RTÉ Player. Siún Nic Gearailt
Siún Nic Gearailt (; born 14 September 1971) is a newsreader with Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ) and Teilifís na Gaeilge (TG4) in Ireland. She currently presents ''Nuacht RTÉ'' and ''Nuacht TG4'' and has presented many of RTÉ's English news programmes, including the '' Six One News'', '' Nine O'Clock News'' and the ''News on Two''. She has also read the news and English bulletins on RTÉ Radio. Early life and education A native Irish speaker, Nic Gearailt was raised in the Feothanach Gaeltacht region of western County Kerry. Her family ran a pub named An Cúinne. She lived in Germany for some years and speaks fluent German. Gaeltacht
( , , ) are the districts of Ireland, individually or collectively, where the Irish government recognises that the Irish language is the predominant vernacular, or language of the home. The ''Gaeltacht'' districts were first officially recognised during the 1920s in the early years of the Irish Free State, following the Gaelic Revival, as part of a government policy aimed at restoring the Irish language. The Gaeltacht is threatened by serious language decline. Research published in 2015 showed that Irish is spoken on a daily basis by two-thirds or more of the population in only 21 of the 155 electoral divisions in the Gaeltacht. RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta (; "Radio of the Gaeltacht"), abbreviated RnaG, is an Irish language radio station owned and operated by Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ). The station is available on FM in Ireland and via satellite and on the Internet. It celebrated 40 years on air on 2 April 2012. RTÉ Lyric FM (stylised as RTÉ lyric fm) is an Irish classical-music and arts radio station, owned and operated by RTÉ. The station, which is based in Limerick, was launched in 1999 and is available on FM throughout Ireland (in some areas also on DAB), on Sky Digital satellite in Ireland and the United Kingdom, and via the Internet worldwide. The Angelus (television Programme)
''The Angelus'' is an Irish radio and television programme, first broadcast in 1950, of the sound of an Angelus bell ringing for one minute. On radio it is broadcast at 12pm and 6pm every day. On television, it is only broadcast at 6pm, immediately before the main evening news. Since 2009, the programme on television no longer includes Catholic imagery and the Angelus prayer itself is never broadcast. The bells were recorded at St Mary's Pro-Cathedral, although initially broadcast live. Radio Éireann first broadcast ''The Angelus'' on 15 August 1950. RTÉ Player is an on demand video service provided by Irish public media broadcaster RTÉ. The service provides live and recorded RTÉ television programmes, and content exclusive to the player as well as content from other international broadcasters. The player is available in two formats: one for the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, and another for international audiences.
