Nu'est
NU'EST (; short for New Establish Style Tempo) was a South Korean boy band formed and managed by Pledis Entertainment. The group consisted of five members: JR, Aron, Baekho, Minhyun and Ren. They debuted on March 15, 2012, with the single titled "Face". The group disbanded on March 15, 2022, after Aron, JR, and Ren left Pledis Entertainment upon the completion of their 10-year contract. History Pre-debut Prior to their debut, NU'EST made appearances in their labelmates' music releases. They were backup dancers for After School Blue's "Wonder Boy", and featured in their label's Christmas release "Love Letter". Aron (singer)
Aaron Kwak (born May 21, 1993), also known by the stage name Aron, is an American singer, rapper and radio-television personality. He began his professional career in 2012 as a main rapper of the South Korean boy group NUEST. Following his contract expiration with Pledis Entertainment in 2022, Kwak established his career as a freelance radio and television host, appearing in various South Korean programs. Early life Aron was born on May 21, 1993, in Los Angeles, California. He attended Loyola High School and was on the varsity golf team, earning the Rookie of the Year Award in 2008 from Daniel Murphy High School. He tested within the top 0.5% on the SATs with a score of 2180 out of 2400. Hwang Min-hyun
Hwang Min-hyun (; born August 9, 1995), known mononymously as Minhyun, is a South Korean singer, songwriter and actor. He began his professional career in 2012 as a lead vocalist of the South Korean boy group NU'EST. In 2017, he participated in second season of Produce 101 and finished ninth place, becoming a member of Wanna One. Following Wanna One's disbandment, Hwang re-joins NU'EST until 2022. He is currently a solo artist and actor signed under Pledis Entertainment. KCON (music Festival)
KCON is an annual convention held in locations across the world, created by Koreaboo and organized by CJ E&M. It was first held in Southern California in 2012 and has since expanded to ten countries as of 2022. In 2015, KCON expanded to Japan and then quickly announced the first KCON USA on the East Coast. In 2016, KCON expanded into Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Paris, France. In January 2017, KCON announced that they would be hosting their first KCON Mexico at the Mexico City Arena on March 17 and 18, 2017. Action (EP)
''Action'' is the first mini-album by South Korean boy group NU'EST. It was released on July 11, 2012, by Pledis Entertainment and distributed by LOEN Entertainment. The EP was a commercial success peaking at number 4 on the Gaon Album Chart. The EP has sold over 20,770 physical copies as of December 2012. Background and release On June 27, 2012, it was announced that NU'EST will make a comeback on Mid-July with a new album. On July 1, the album jacket photo as well as the release date of their new mini-album was revealed. Choi Min-gi (born November 3, 1995), known professionally as Ren, is a South Korean singer, actor and television personality. He began his professional career in 2012 as a vocalist of the South Korean boy group NU'EST. Following his contract's expiration in Pledis Entertainment in March 2022, Choi established his career as a solo artist signed under BPM Entertainment. ''Hello Counselor'' () was a South Korean social commentary talk show that debuted on November 22, 2010. It was hosted by Shin Dong-yup, Lee Young-ja, and Cultwo ( Jung Chan-woo, Kim Tae-gyun). Hello Venus (; often stylized as HELLOVENUS) was a South Korean girl group formed by Tricell Media (formerly a joint venture between Pledis Entertainment and Fantagio). The group originally consisted of: Alice, Nara, Lime, Yooara, Yoonjo and Yooyoung. They debuted with the lead single "Venus" from their debut extended play of the same name on 9 May 2012. The Korea Scout Association is the national Scouting association of South Korea. Scouting was founded in Korea in 1922 while under Japanese rule, and sent representatives to the first Far East Scouting competition in Beijing in 1924.
