Ntoroko District
Ntoroko District is a district in the Western Region of Uganda. The district headquarters are in the Kibbuuku town council. It is the second least populated district in Uganda. Location Ntoroko District is one of the two Ugandan districts west of the Rwenzori Mountains, the other being Bundibugyo District. The Ntoroko District is bordered by the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west and north, separated by the winding Semuliki River, has a maritime boundary with two Bunyoro districts; Kikuube District to the north-north-east and Kagadi District to the north-east. Districts Of Uganda
As of 17 November 2020, Uganda is divided into 136 districts and the capital city of Kampala, which are grouped into four administrative regions. Since 2005, the Ugandan government has been in the process of dividing districts into smaller units. This decentralization is intended to prevent resources from being distributed primarily to chief towns and leaving the remainder of each district neglected. Each district is further divided into Counties of Uganda, counties and municipalities, and each county is further divided into Sub-counties of Uganda, sub-counties. Kikuube District
Kikuube District is a district in the Western Region of Uganda. It is named after its main municipal centre, Kikuube. Location Kikuube District is bordered by Hoima District to the north and east, Kakumiro District to the southeast, Kibaale District and Kagadi District to the south, Ntoroko District to the southwest and Lake Albert and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west. The Uganda Bureau of Statistics ("UBOS") is an agency of the Ugandan government. Formed by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics Act, 1998, the agency is mandated to "coordinate, monitor and supervise Uganda's National Statistical System". The parliament of Uganda is the country's legislative body. Unicameral, the most significant of the Ugandan parliament's functions is to pass laws that will provide good governance in the country. Kasese
Kasese is a town north of Lake George in the Western Region of Uganda. It originally grew around the copper mine at Kilembe, while attention later turned to cobalt mining. It is the chief town of Kasese District, and the district headquarters are located there. Kasese is also the largest town in the Rwenzururu region. Ntoroko
Ntoroko is a town officially known as Kanara Town Council in Ntoroko District Western Uganda. It is one of the four town councils of Ntoroko District the others being Karugutu, Rwebisengo and Kibuku Town Council. Ntoroko is the largest fishing town on the southern Mwitanzige (Lake Albert) shore. Kabarole District
Kabarole District is a district in Western Uganda. Kabarole District is part of the Kingdom of Toro. Its main town was Fort Portal before 1st July 2020 when it was elevated to a city, separating it from Kabarole district Government. The new Kabarole district seat is proporsed in Busoro Town Council. Kabarole remains with only one county (Burahya). Bunyangabu county was curved out to form Bunyangabu district in 2017.
