"Nowhere Without You" is the second single from Kevin Mitchell, under the moniker, Bob Evans, from his second solo album, ''Suburban Songbook''. The song was released on 4 September 2006 and debuted at No. 84 on the ARIA Singles Chart. Music video The music video for "Nowhere Without You" features Mitchell playing an old piano and miniature keyboard, which are located in the room of a suburban home. As he is performing the song, various objects become animated, as the video's creators employed puppets to achieve the effect. The video ends with Mitchell swallowed by a couch in the room after the puppet television announces, "And that's all he wrote". Media appearances The Ten Network, an Australian television channel, used the song as the soundtrack for a promotional segment for the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Awards that the network was presenting in 2006; the segment was intermittently featured among the station's regular programming. Kevin Edward Mitchell (born 1 October 1977), also known by the stage name of Bob Evans, is an Australian singer-songwriter; Mitchell uses the name for his primary solo project. He is also the founding lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the alternative rock band Jebediah, which was formed in 1994 and features his older brother Brett Mitchell, who joined on drums before the group's first performance. Jebediah released five studio albums between 1997 and 2011, the first three of which entered the top ten on the ARIA Charts, ARIA Albums Chart. ''Suburban Songbook'' is the second studio album by Australian singer-songwriter Kevin Mitchell, under the pseudonym Bob Evans, vocalist and guitarist for Perth band Jebediah. It was produced by Brad Jones (Josh Rouse, Yo La Tengo, Sheryl Crow, Jill Sobule) at the 'Alex the Great Studios' in Nashville, Tennessee. At the 2006 ARIA Awards, ''Suburban Songbook'' won the "Best Adult Contemporary Album" and at the J Award of 2006, the album was nominated for Australian Album of the Year. "Don't You Think It's Time?" is the first single to be taken from Bob Evans' (aka Kevin Mitchell from Jebediah) second album ''Suburban Songbook''. The single was released 13 May 2006 and reached #22 on the ARIA Singles Chart. It also reached #37 on Triple J's Hottest 100 for 2006. The album was produced by Nashville-based Brad Jones (Josh Rouse, Yo La Tengo, Sheryl Crow, Jill Sobule) at the 'Alex the Great Studios' in Nashville and features Ken Coomer (ex- Wilco) on drums. The single features two extra tracks not available elsewhere - Kevin Mitchell solo and one recorded at his home on a 4 track. Evans wrote the song after a day spent hosting Channel V as Regurgitator recorded their album Mish Mash! as a Band in a Bubble. Evans wrote the music and added lyrics later. The 2006 Triple J Hottest 100 was announced on Australia Day, 26 January 2007. It is the fourteenth such countdown of the most popular songs of the year, as voted by listeners of the Australian radio station Triple J. Voting began on 1 January 2007, and closed on 21 January. 671,024 votes were counted in this year's poll. The broadcast began at 10 a.m., and at midday, crossed to Hyde Park in Sydney for a live broadcast of the countdown, beginning at #75. The top 10 was announced from 6 p.m. by breakfast team Myf Warhurst and Jay and the Doctor.
