Pop Music
Pop music is a genre of popular music that originated in its modern form during the mid-1950s in the United States and the United Kingdom. The terms ''popular music'' and ''pop music'' are often used interchangeably, although the former describes all music that is popular and includes many disparate styles. Kisschasy
Kisschasy are an Australian rock band that formed in Melbourne, Victoria in 2002. Their line-up consists of lead vocalist Darren Cordeux, bassist Joel Vanderuit, guitarist Sean Thomas and drummer Karl Ammitzboll. The band released two gold certified studio albums, two extended plays, a documentary DVD and a compilation album in their initial 10-year career, selling in excess of 90,000 records. Band history Formation and early releases Kisschasy formed in 2002. Three of the four members of the band grew up near the small country town of Balnarring in the Mornington Peninsula of Victoria. Darren Cordeux, the lead singer and guitarist, grew up in Cranbourne, Victoria, a large town north of the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Joel Vanderuit, Sean Thomas and Karl Ammitzboll played in a local band called Tenpin, who achieved a little local success. Never Let You Go (Evermore Song)
"Never Let You Go" is the fourth single by Evermore, taken from their second studio album ''Real Life''. It peaked in the top 30 of the ARIA Singles Chart. Track listing Video The video of the single is of a series of clips of that show the meaning of the lyrics of being sung. The band appears throughout the video in blackface in one scene and at the end. For example, when "GET" is said during the song, a picture of a 'GOT' sign appears. During the music video the Hume brothers (Jonn, Dann and Petey) are not seen performing or in any pictures. However, the brothers are in the video: in the center section three scientists are seen that have a shocking similarity to the brothers, secondly, Evermore is spotted dressed as lower-class men sitting together. Evermore are a band originally from Feilding, New Zealand, now based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The band consists of brothers Jon (guitar, vocals, album production), Peter (keyboards, bass, vocals) and Dann Hume (drums, guitar, vocals). Yellowcard is an American Rock music, rock band that formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1997 and was based in Los Angeles beginning in 2000. The band is recognized for having a distinct sound in their genre, primarily due to the prominent use of a violin in their songs, and are best known for their singles "Ocean Avenue (song), Ocean Avenue", "Only One (Yellowcard song), Only One", and "Lights and Sounds (song), Lights and Sounds". Dollarman
Dollarman is a Caribbean singer, songwriter, producer and musician born in Grenada. Since moving to Brooklyn, New York, he continues to present hits with a Caribbean influence and reggae. Career In the early 1990s, he recorded his first two tracks, "Long Time Lover" and "Driver" on the Rockers Forever record label. He also performed live at clubs and bars in New York and became well recognized on the Underground Brooklyn Reggae music scene for over 10 years. In 2003, Dollarman was featured on the "Money (Pink Floyd song), Money" track of Easy Star Record's Reggae/Dub tribute version of Pink Floyd's album ''The Dark Side of the Moon'' titled ''Dub Side of the Moon''. Bob Sinclar
Christophe Le Friant (; born 10 May 1969), better known by his stage name Bob Sinclar (), is a French record producer, DJ and remixer. He is the owner of the record label Yellow Productions. Musical career A native of Paris, Le Friant began DJing in the 1980s under the name Chris the French Kiss. During this time he was more influenced by hip hop and jazz music and created music projects such as The Mighty Bop and Reminiscence Quartet, the latter with an ensemble of musicians and where Le Friant used the alias Desmond K. In 1998 Le Friant adopted name of Bob Sinclar after the titular character from the 1973 film ''Le Magnifique''.
