Novodanylivka () is a village in southern Ukraine, administratively located in Orikhiv urban hromada, Polohy Raion, Zaporizhzhia Oblast. It has a population of 1006. History Novodanylivka was founded in 1879 as a settlement of the Russian Empire. During the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine phase of the Russo-Ukrainian War, Russian Ground Forces shelled the village heavily almost daily. By 20 July 2022, 40% of buildings were reportedly destroyed. An oblast ( uk, о́бласть; ) in Ukraine, often called a region or province, is the main type of first-level administrative division of the country. Zaporizhzhia Oblast ( uk, Запорі́зька о́бласть, translit=Zaporizka oblast), also referred to as Zaporizhzhia ( uk, Запорі́жжя, links=no), is an oblast (province) of southeast Ukraine. Polohy Raion ( uk, Пологівський район) is one of the 5 raions (districts) of Zaporizhzhia Oblast in southern Ukraine. The administrative center of the region is the town of Polohy. Population: .
