Notre Dame Preparatory High School is a private Catholic high school located in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States. History The site of the school was purchased by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix in March 2001. The school opened in August 2002 with only a freshman and sophomore class. The first class of 72 students graduated on May 21, 2005. Peter Bourjos
Peter Christopher Bourjos (born March 31, 1987) is an American former professional baseball center fielder who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim / Los Angeles Angels, St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, Tampa Bay Rays, and Atlanta Braves. The Angels selected him in the tenth round of the 2005 amateur draft from Notre Dame Preparatory High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. He made his MLB debut for the Angels in 2010. The Cardinals obtained him in a trade with the Angels after the 2013 season. Bourjos has gained considerable attention for his defensive skills, including his range, speed and ability to make what are deemed difficult catches. Jake Smith (born January 5, 2001) is an American football wide receiver who plays for the Arizona State Sun Devils. He previously played for the Texas Longhorns and USC Trojans. Early life and high school Smith grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona and attended Notre Dame Preparatory High School. Smith compiled 2,538 all purpose yards in his junior season, including 1,135 rushing and 1,055 receiving and scored 28 total touchdowns and was named first team All-Arizona as an all-purpose player. Sean Patrick Renfree (born April 28, 1990) is a former American football quarterback. After playing college football for Duke University, he was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Early years Renfree attended Notre Dame Preparatory High School in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he was a four-year letterman in football. He was voted as the team's "Most Valuable Player" his junior and senior year. In his junior year, Renfree, threw for 2,483 yards and 25 touchdowns with five interceptions.
