Notre Dame High School (Chattanooga, Tennessee)
Notre Dame High School is a private, Roman Catholic college-preparatory day school in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Founded in 1876, it is Chattanooga's oldest private school. The current campus, dedicated in 1966, is located in the Glenwood neighborhood adjacent to Memorial Hospital. Notre Dame was the first racially integrated high school in Chattanooga. Pezavan Whatley (January 10, 1951 – January 18, 2005) was an American professional wrestler best known for his time with NWA Mid-America. Professional wrestling career Whatley played football and wrestled for Notre Dame High School in Chattanooga, Tennessee and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC). He was UTC's first African-American wrestler. Whatley started wrestling in 1973 after a brief career as a power lifter. Kareem Orr (born January 2, 1997) is an American football cornerback who is a free agent. He played college football at Chattanooga. Professional career Tennessee Titans Orr was signed by the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent on May 13, 2019. He was waived on August 31, 2019 and was signed to the practice squad the next day. He was promoted to the active roster on October 26, 2019, but was waived two days later and re-signed back to the practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster again on November 26, 2019. Dennis Haskins (born November 18, 1950) is an American actor known for his role as Principal Richard Belding in the teen sitcom ''Saved by the Bell'', which ran from 1989 to 1993 on NBC. Christopher Grabenstein is an American author. He published his first novel in 2005. Since then he has written novels for both adults and children, the latter often with frequent collaborator James Patterson. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1977 with a degree from the College of Communication and Information. In the 1980s he performed with the improvisational group "First Amendment Comedy". Adarius Bowman (born July 10, 1985) is a former American professional gridiron football wide receiver in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was signed by the Saskatchewan Roughriders as an undrafted free agent in 2008. Bowman has also been a member Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Montreal Alouettes, and Edmonton Eskimos/Elks.
