Bandy is a winter sport and ball sport played by two team sport, teams wearing Ice skates#Bandy skates, ice skates on a large ice surface (either indoors or outdoors) while using sticks to direct a ball into the opposing team's goal. Mjøndalen IF is a Norwegian sports club located in Mjøndalen, Buskerud, Norway. Of the different athletic endeavours that the club supports, it may be best known in Norway for its bandy national championship teams and internationally for its association football national championship teams that have competed in UEFA championships. Ullevål Idrettslag is a Norway, Norwegian sports club from Oslo. The club currently has sections for bandy and gymnastics. It was founded on 5 July 1920 with the name ''Kvik''. It was founded as an association football club, and expanded with tennis, gymnastics, track and field, Nordic skiing and alpine skiing before 1929. In 1934 bandy was added. The Norwegian Bandy Premier League is the top level of bandy in Norway. National bandy champions have been named yearly since 1912, but the league was only founded in 1932. The league consists of eight teams. After the regular league, the leading teams goes to a play-off which decides what team will be the Norwegian champion. Since 1976, the winner of the league is formally awarded the title ''league champion'' (Norwegian: ''seriemester''), a title which however is not counted to be worth as much as the national championship title. The 2001–02 season of the Norwegian Premier League, the highest bandy league for men in Norway. 8 games were played in an initial round, with a further 10 games for the top six teams. 2 points were given for wins and 1 for draws. Stabæk won the league, whereas xxxx was relegated. League table First round The top six teams progressed to the finals. Stabæk carried three bonus points into the finals, whereas Mjøndalen carried two and Sarpsborg one bonus point. The bottom three continued to a relegation playoff, which xxxx did not survive. A season is a division of the year based on changes in weather, ecology, and the number of daylight hours in a given region.
