Norway Women's National Under-17 Football Team
The Norway women's national under-17 football team represents Norway at the UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship and the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. The team has yet to qualify for the latter competition. Tournament record UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship The Norwegian team has participated in five of the thirteen UEFA Women's Under-17 Championships to date. The best result was reaching the semi-final in 2017, where no third place play-off was held. Players The following 20 players were called up by head coach Elise Brotangen for the 2022 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship in May 2022. Football Association Of Norway
The Norwegian Football Federation ( nb, Norges Fotballforbund, nn, Noregs Fotballforbund; NFF) is the governing body of football in Norway. It was formed in 1902 and organises the men's and women's national teams, as well as the league systems for men and women (whose top levels are respectively the Eliteserien and Toppserien). The current president of NFF is Lise Klaveness. By 1 January 2004, there were 1,814 clubs organized in Norway and 373,532 registered players. It is the largest sports federation in Norway. The NFF joined FIFA in 1908, and UEFA in 1954. The NFF was part of an unsuccessful joint bid with the SvFF, the DBU and the SPL to host the UEFA Euro 2008 championship. The SvFF invited the NFF to join them in bidding for the UEFA Euro 2016 championship. 2015 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship
The 2015 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship was the eighth edition of the UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship, the annual European youth football competition contested by the women's under-17 national teams of the member associations of UEFA. Iceland hosted the tournament. Players born on or after 1 January 1998 were eligible to participate in this competition. Each match lasted 80 minutes, consisting of two halves of 40 minutes, with an interval of 15 minutes. Qualification A total of 44 UEFA nations entered the competition, and with the hosts Iceland qualifying automatically, the other 43 teams competed in the qualifying competition to determine the remaining seven spots in the final tournament. Røa IL
Røa IL is a Norwegian sports club from Røa in the borough of Vestre Aker, Oslo. It was founded on 11 November 1900, and has sections for football, gymnastics, bandy, and cross-country skiing. Football, bandy, and Nordic skiing have been dominant in Røa. In bandy, the team has twice made it to the finals in the Norwegian cup, losing both to arch-rivals Stabæk. Viking FK Kvinner ( en, Viking FK Women) is the women's team of Norwegian football club Viking FK.
