Northside High School is located in Columbus, Georgia, United States. It was founded in 2002. Originally, the mascot was planned to be the Wolverine, but after the September 11 attacks, the mascot was changed to the Patriot. They have outstanding programs like engineering and biomedical science. Northside High School also participates in many local fundraisers through their many clubs and organizations. The Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC -- commonly pronounced "JAY-rotsee") is a federal program sponsored by the United States Armed Forces in high schools and also in some middle schools across the United States and at US military bases across the world. The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a national student organization created to develop skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) as well as business education.
